It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Honda CBR600RR 2011 model, seat height = 820mm.

Yamaha YZF-R6 2011 model, seat height = 850mm.

Kawasaki ZX-6R 2010 model, seat height = 815.34mm.

Hope it helps you "solving" ur mystery. (as mechwira mentioned pretty negligble)

I find it bad lowering rear shock to accomodate rider height... wouldn't it affect ur preload adjustment?

Sometimes seat height alone is misleading. The design and width of the seat plays a part too. Most modern sportsbikes have pretty narrow tanks, but even so. Best thing is to go to shop and sit on each of them.

dont worry... when u sit on the bike it will sag down a little... anyway i believe as long as u are above 16ocm. i think pretty much u can ride anything la.. xcept goldwing which might be abit hard... and also heavier bike, Ie Atwin, bmw GS...

best is to just go and try to sit on the bike...

There is no replacement for displacement, except for Ah Seng

I'm not trying to hijack this thread but I'm too having doubts. I'm 1.57m. If really is negligible then I think I stick to just 2B or the least S4.

if talking strictly class 2 sportsbikes.... honestly you can climb aboard an S4 means you can climb aboard any of the sportsbikes. just dun talk the big tourers like ST13 or FJR or Hayabusa.

you have to understand that 80% of the time you'll never feel the bike is too tall or too heavy. thats coz once on the move, the power takes over and it doesn matter at all how short you are. in fact the power and weight makes it even easier to balance than the 2b bike. ppl who take class 2 go on narrow plank will agree.

even at traffic stop, put both feet down but tiptoe, still wont feel the weight so long you maintain the bike upright.

vertically-challenged riders might experience problems with height/weight only when using legs to push bikes. then will have problem, coz with tiptoe you dun have enough grip, and being vertically challenged you might not have enough leg-power. so get off and push lor. thats what they teach at class 2 lessons, if you cant do this you cant pass class 2 licence anyway.
