PAP helps the rich by sacrifice motorcycle COE. PAP does it by transfer every year a quarter of motorcycle COEs to the Open category. See the middle paragraph.

This party responsible for sky-rocket Motorcycle COE price.

Many bikers need own transport in their jobs, and usually can afford 2B bikes only. Reducing COE quota only means buying & owning a bike is getting further away from “low & affordable” by the day, killing more & more such bikers’ living.

Likesie, many companies use bikes for their business because it is more practical & cheaper, which indirectly reduce business cost. Reducing motorcycles COE yearly will mean increase business cost, which is bad news for you & me, companies & employees.

Worst, with increase in COE prices in all categories, we have increase & longer traffic jams, and increase saradine jam in MRT trains. With PAP such proven track record in transport management, we do not need these highest paid ministers in the world on the drivers' seat.

Use your vote to stop transfer of motorcycle COE to Open category.

Industry players put the escalating premium down to a number of factors. Chief among them is the shrinking COE supply. About 650 COEs are up for bidding each month, about a third of the supply 10 years ago. Traders said the supply will continue to shrink because a quarter of motorcycle COEs go to the Open category each year - and these are mainly secured by parties who can pay more - car buyers and sellers.

Well done, LTA. Stealing COEs from lower income groups who need these bikes and forcing the price up.

Replace Raymond Lim is not enough, the problem will become worst.

Why?

Because PAP does not see reducing Motocycle for bike is a problem.

To PAP, it is a more serious porblem is there is not enough cars COE for the rich to buy cars.

To get rid of the problem, you must get rid of its roots, which are all PAP cabinet Ministers.

If not, do read this poem.

When PAP was formed they promised (Peace And Prosperity)

Slowly it tured to be (Papa Anak Politics)

Where they made us (Pay And Pay) with (Pain And Pain)

Their system now (Poor Also Pay)

Sooner or later (Penniless Also Pay)

If this goes on we can't (Pass Away Peacefully)

See waiting for elections doesn't really help, all they will do is let more new citizens vote, rig here and there and they win by default.

Replace one person isn't gonna help, must replace the whole system, with a system so entrenched and population either too scared or too foreign. Best option is to move away, stay here if you want, prices of everything will go up.

Besides, only van and truck drivers drive for a livelihood, driving a car is not a necessity. Riding a bike is, especially deliveries.

Just yesterday they mention of cutting down the Quota of Vehicles.

Looks like they are Cutting down on the Quota of Vehicles on the street instead of putting a Quota on Foreigners that is busting the infrastructure and upping the cost of Housing.

If COE is meant to reduce congestion then COE on bikes has no logic because bikes don't really contribute to congestion but then it won't contribute to gahmen's pockets.

If the statisticians in LTA are counting 1 bike COE = 1 car COE, then they better go back to primary.

I think it is more likely for the following to be going on secretly and quietly:

- By reducing the quota for bikes, they are allowing HDB / URA to eat up the bike slots so that the grouse for car parks, which most probably account for significant amount of votes, reduces.

- It is more possible that the business bikes are sufficient in replacement. if they eliminate those free radicals like you and I who do not want to be bound to public transport, then we will have to go by taxis/buses etc and increase their coffers.
