Rode to work this morning on Lentor Ave then SLE then CTE, together with another black colour bird. Chinese guy with red riding jacket and jeans. He exit Amk ave 1 exit. R u here?

another bbird spotted along clementi ave 6, he was exiting to PIE. Black bbird with twin GPR pipe. Caught up to him and waved at him before weaving off towards Jurong area. :)

I think it was the one bought from Excel cycle few days before mine. Never met the owner before.

Thanks bro... Can't resist the temptations. Anyway , the modifications that i am using now can mostly be transfer to VFR 800 in the future! I plan ahead! Hahaha!!!

 

Rebuilding clutch master pump is cheap, the pump kit is available anytime in local. But Slave cylinder no point service. Might as well change new one, unless it is minor O-Ring leaking. I dunno how much it cost for both (cos mine was part of the free servicing thrown in before i collect the bike), but i remember it's not really that expensive. Can check it out for U from my Mech when i'm free. Unless if it is urgent, then pls text me at 90251761, and i will get back to U. I'm on course this whole week, and won't be able to monitor my phone during office hours, so i will reply late.

 

In fact the problems most decade old birds facing now are all the same (brakes, clutch, FI.). Other than that, the engine is still running damn strong. Mine has a lot of wear and tear before i bought it too.

The only stuff i do for the clutch is cleaning the actuator rod.Juz remove the clutch slave cylinder and juz gie it a gd rub.U'll tend to see alot of grimes on the rod.A greenwool will do the job,however juz take note of the 3 screws coz these 3 have different length.So be careful not to get them mixed up.The slave cylinder will be difficult to put back coz the acyuator rod is sticking out.No worries,juz remember to place the 3 screws accordingly,tightenen em evenly and viola..all is gd.

But the most important thing to remember is DO NOT PUMP ur clutch wen it being remove or else u'll need to bleed them.Have a nice DIY...:)

hvnt rode my bike for 4 days and yesterday when i took it out for a short ride, I notice my 25 blink is gone.. is this a short lived joy for me? haha..

Hi guys..new to this forum of bb..just gotten my bb a wk ago....nice ride so far compare to my haya(etc,etc prob)...notice that the speed meter shows "mph'...any idea how to change to "kmh"?

 

any plans this wkend?

welcome bro. I'm new here to.

On your digital meter, on your left, there's 2 buttons (set and mode). Press them down together at the same time, it will change the mph to kmh.

 

anyway, think the upcomning meet up is probably 19 June? when Jimmyzee is back, and a photo session on 26 June.
