my bike starting oso damn sweet. i thot this was the best thing next to S4

but when the problems started... it came heavier than tsunami

repair till wanna jux dump the bike in the sea

but no money to repair + no money to change bike

LL stick to it & everyday pray she dun break down anymore

After ride 2weeks my runner, i still not satisfy my bike handle. Still feel like shake shake. I don't know it is normal to runner bike or not?

just bought a gilera vxr 200 at BP, i'm a super duper newbie at this bike need some info's on this bike. info's on running in and the do's and don'ts on the bike. Any sort of info's. it would be a great help for me THANKS!!!

Im rather interested in a ktm200 converted SM actually..being light n powerful Im wondering if it will torquey enuff like teh bigger bore 4 strokes sm...

yeah!! tat shd be cool.. but not in the same class leh... shd put a 250 .. then got fight.. heheheh! being light and high center of gravity got disadvantages.. but then again worth a shot... so u changing bike ar? somebody eying a sm eh... then again who's not... cool.

nope not changing...juz hav been eyeing on dat for a long time but fun on my little scoot haven end so I guess carrying on wif the scoot will be a more practical choice

hey sorry guys to be off topic.

 

i'd read some pages back from this thread about one of you guys changing into an open pod and the rubber tubing wasn't attached to anything or a "sub-filter" was missing.

 

what i wanna ask is that, i also changed into an open pod recently, and the mechanic didn't want to take off the big black airbox, afraid of repercussions (like water problem, dust and dirt get into it, yada yada). but i've seen alot of runners without the airbox.

 

so any bros here willing to share with me, where i could purchase that small filter or whatever it is here. and how much would it cost. (actually the reason for me to change into an open pod was to get rid of the black air-box. and it didn't happen lah for my case.)

 

and i'm riding a Gilera DNA.

Im wondering how did u change an open pod wifout taking out the airbox..is it a modification to the airbox u r talking abt??..

 

Go tell the mech u want an expose open pod wifout the airbox the shop shld hav all the stuff to do the convertion..juz tell the mech u will come back n pay $$ to wash the filter n carb regularly..after dat he will sure do it for u..then it again up to u to decide urself if the convertion works n benefits u other than looking bling n having a wonderful sound

what happened was, the mech took out this fat black rubber hose somewhere around the carb area that was attached to the airbox and replaced it with an air filter. and he didn't took out the airbox. he merely took out that big rubber hose that i was saying.

 

and there was some smaller rubber hose that was attached to the top of the airbox. where it came from i don't know. that part of the hose, wasn't took out.

well, for my case, im riding vxr 06.. i went back to taihin n jus buy a replacement for my lost mini filter.. he charge me the cost price which is ok. i dun have the big black box once i change to open pod.
