the right hand side brake lever is for front or back break or both??

and how about the left side??

Left side is for rear & front and right is for front only.

And left side is use to start bike too.

they quote me 12.55k OTR plus insurance @ 4% for 2006 euro

btw i am 22 only ..insurance damn high

This oso wat i heaerd from Bike Production and Boon Siew. So how true i dunno. Wat i know is the Euro Version had beaten the Jap. Version.

Is it a general case or just an isolated case ?

 

In simple words,

1 euro beat 1 jap. or All Euro beat all jap.

 

Jus trying to think of external factors to make it a fairer comparison cos the "black jap version" tt i know of have some slight modifications.

i think they mean the POWER VALVE ..... not power cut ... The POWER VALVE main purpose is for noise level control and better torque at the low end as far as I know. Refer to the exhuast system thread ..

"T" mode in SW JDM version only means: "TA GONG" (hokkien for fantastic!)

so when T mode is selected, yr wing will fly ...

actually repeated many times .... more torque ... but in real world, cant feel any dif.

Hi All SW members,

 

I am a newbie here, just trade in my X9 to exchange for japan model sliverwing 400 ( second hand, grey. bike is about 3 years old.

 

As the bike do not have any tools, and manual ( just downloaded from the tech corner, but all in jap)

 

Any bros have english version ? and some important question to ask fellow bro here ?

 

1.) What is the tyre pressure ( F/R ) in kpa ?

2.) I need the spare parts for the chrome exhaust cover and windscreen, call up and they say don't have.. roughly how much is the items ?? cos mine got hugh scratches.

3.) Any things to look out for regarding this 3 year old bike ? i.e. belts, servicing intervals and recommended bike shop which will not chop our heads ??

GIVI Simply is 45 ltrs, GIVI Maxia is 52 ltrs. Depending on your requirement, but both are recommended.

Driver only = front 200kPa, rear 225kPa.

with pillion = front 200kPa, rear 250kPa.

There should be a V indicator on your dashboard. It right beside the High beam indicator.

 

When that light up and stay there thru out then its time to visit your motorshop.
