... can go to 285 km before the gauge blinks. This so far 3 times i recorded for S'pore riding but in mal roads can get nearer 300km.

i'm also clocking around 285+ nowadays coz riding into city more often :p

anyway, does your fuel indicator also tend to fall faster after the first ½? like a footballer, 1st ½ got stamina, 2nd ½ pang-chek and drinks more petrol :?

my guess is the first ½ isn't actually ½ due to the construction of the tank and/or inaccurate calibrations... can try comparing the kms clocked at ½ time, "full-time" and "extra-time" :cheeky:

hi, can any silverwing riders help here.. theres no power to my bike when i turn on the ignition key. (no headlight, no dashboard light)... i try to jump start it and i manage to crank it. however, it dies off immediately when i remove the jump start cable. i tot my battery is totally flat and it requires a longer time to charge, so i decided to bring back the batt and charge. when i check with a mulitmeter, it shows 12.8v... strange? i check all the fuses and all seems to be working fine. how is this possible? anyone? i use a acid lead battery charger to charge it and it also shows the batt is full...

good idea... any recommendations to where/mechs to fix the horn? or did you just DIY? i'm electrically incompetent so won't be able to fit it myself, open up cowl also dunno where to connect wires :p

anyone free to help or also wanna fit together? :cheeky:

I have installed twice before at Motoworld, around 50 buckaroos (I buy there also lah, easier), about 1 hour job. I normally use the Stebel 2 piece type.

I press my horn even myself get scared . . beri loud :cheeky:

which CCK carpark u at? my blue wing is at ave 5 mscp :D

apart from the lingual difference in instructions, the most prominent difference is at the ignition control (different design) and some JDMs have an "acceleration" switch situated near to left side signal controls. wouldn't it be nice if its a cruise control switch instead :p

heard from other wingers that JDMs perform better at lower end but looses out at top. i prefer top for smoother cruising and better FC... matter of personal preference. but that could be easily change by changing the rollers to a heavier weight

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN USING DR PULLEY!!!

Many have use it, and YES, it improves the pick up of your bike. But dun use for more than abt 3000 km. Otherwise you can say bye bye to your variator. I've also seen cases of Dr Pulley installed for less than 2000 km, and that bike's variator's wall is already eaten.

Stock is the best. Long lasting = save money.

Dun think u ever wan to spend extra money opening your transmission before your belt is due right?

And dun think there is any after market rollers able to last till the belt is due.

I've already said. Go try to believe. Yes! It does make your bike faster.

But who knows, i might be wrong.

And, who on earth will ever replace a $100+++ variator for u even if its their fault?

So whether it's worth the risk or not, NEVER TRY NEVER KNOW.
