Oh Dear !! Looks like a lot of nice super scoots going to overheat in the Quee tonight !! Last night even 10.45 also had to wait 35 mins. I think maybe because holiday tomorrow and also payday !

But I never able to pump 12.5L.

Pump 12L already petrol almost to the brim (can touch it with half my index finger from the tank opening).

 

For last fill, don't know why max at 11.80L and the petrol already reach the above stated position.

2. I'm 1.8m tall. The windshield's a bit short for me. Additional 2" would be just nice but after market ones are at least 4" different from stock. That would end up at eye level where my view would be affected.

Comments from anyone using Givi windshield?

 

3. Any equivalent Iridium sparkplugs from NGK that is comparably and suitable for SW?

 

Err... I've got 'pigeon' from my belt/roller compartment too... at just 1000km!

It 'cookoos' only when moving off.

after market ones also got different heights one. go motoworld ask for the Ermax windshields catalog. ermax make windshields with height ranging from 10 cm to 20cm taller than stock.

u have to go FJT find out more. or look through the internet see if u can find out more.

But this never happened with my x9 on Michelin Gold.

Now a bit worried.

 

My mech recommends Michelin Pilot Sport (since can't get 'Gold' for SW).

Any comments on this tyre?

Hi nance.. here's my 5 cent worth.. i used to change tat tyre for my SW.. It is very gd for cornering as the tyre is very round, soft compound too. maybe it is new also.. N it sticks to the ground well.. but rainy days, ride slowly ba. coz no tyre is perfect.. u can consider changing to Michelin..

if u search under the Michelin website, the recommended tires for silverwing is Gold Standard. but the distributor never bring in this tire. currently, the gold standard tires available locally dun have such a big size for the rear.

1. To have a gd look into that hole, u have to detach the seat from the showa holder. Just have to remove a safety pin in order to do that. Also u need a torch to see inside. Yes there r cables blocking the idling screw. Just use yr phillips screwdriver to push them away to reach the idling screw.

My previous stock Japan IRC and current Mich Pilot Sport tyres fishtailed in MSCP and basement carparks when ground is wet. On wet roads still ok so far.
