3. You need to delete files off the hard drive because it's taking up too much space.

4. You need to disconnect from the Internet because WiFi is interfering with a nearby Bluetooth connection such as a mobile phone

Your friend has a 6 year old desktop computer and he is complaining that it's very slow the past few weeks.

He mentions that it gives him occasional weird problems in that he can't open certain files all of a sudden, and errors say "file is corrupt"

In the next week he mentions that waiting for Windows to load is slow. Sometimes it can grind to a halt and hangs there.

He also mentions he hears chirps and clicks from his computer.

 

What could be the probable cause and next possible remedy for him?

 

1. His operating system is too old, and he needs to upgrade to Windows 7.

2. Too little memory (RAM) space available, and his computer is giving him audible sounds to notify him of this issue. He needs to add new RAM, or upgrade to higher capacity RAM modules.

3. Something is wrong with his hard drive. It is failing slowly and recommend him to quickly drag his files out to a new hard drive before it malfunctions completely. He needs to buy a new hard drive afterwards.

4. Windows operating systems are known to be unreliable and slow, he may need to consider an Apple Mac computer.

I'm ok with this test standard. Bear in mind that this segregates knowledgeable and tech savvy people.

 

Of course, one may never know what to expect for the exam questions. I can pull trick questions out from my bag too if need be

Hey its fun!!! I want to purposely get all the answers wrong ! And give ridiculous response like. Your freind has 6 year old desktop.. he complain slow.... Ans: GO SIM LIM AND BUY A NEW ONE LA BODOH!!! 6 year old com can throw into the river already!!!
