You're welcome.

Some things to share from my own opinion.

From what i noticed abt the things that all students learn, has only learned and gain enough skill just to pass the test but not enough to fully maximized more skills that u can develop.

Example- Emergency brake. only at 30-40km/h. How i wish i can teach u guys to do it at 70km/h.

I've been to Japan for advance training.(as some of u might already know)

And the culture towards road safety and the interests to be skillful on the bike is so different. The sudents fully respect the instuctors there.

To my surprise, non-instructors, students, even ladies can ride like us instrucrtors in Singapore. Maybe even better.

Below are some pics when i was in japan....

Students, the many bikes and cars we used and lots of space for skidding control(4w) and the competition.

Interesting stuff. That's what I like about the Japanese people, they are so passionate and dedicated in whatever they do in order to achieve the best. Especially their advancement in automotive industry and motorcycle technology, definitely of world class standard. :thumb:

So during your Japan trip, did they bring you to places like their local Suzuka international circuit & the famous Honda's twin ring Motegi? It would be so cool to set your foot there where so many legendary GP racers had race there before. Especially their local riders such as the late Norick Abe and Daijiro Kato who are some of my favorite GP riders, but sadly will never get the chance to see them race anymore....:(

That must be one great experience of your lifetime. Guess that's the advantage of being an instructor at SSDC because it's 'powered' by Honda. :thumb: Not sure whether instructors from other driving centers have this kind of opportunities though.

BBDC does exactly what we do... BBDC and SSDC under the same roof.

We competed together with 27 other instructors around the world. Even the counter girl at BBDC took part, but in the 100cc category. Ours was the 750cc.

Hey pple... I suppose some of u might have seen myself and other instructors training ourselves during lunch time and dinner before, right?

Doing those quick and tight cornering within the circuit, and in and out thru pylons.

What if i had a chance to organize a day or two for an Advance Riding Course? I'll teach u more than what the school is teaching u. There will be a fee becuz i may rent a open road space for us. (maybe Kallang car park)

Must possess at least a class 2B and using ur own bike

If this can happen, i will teach things like;

- correct posture riding to enable better handle of ur bike thru hard accelaration and braking.

- how to be quick/effective on accelaration and braking with the right timing.

- E/brake and higher speeds. Skiding.

- Faster speed cornering in the safe way. Includes counter steering, lining, etc.

- Bliping.

- Maybe even do a Lap time/time attack Race.

What do u guys think of this idea? if the response is good. Like maybe at least 20 pple.

Then i might be able to plan something.
