SSDC - Anyone Taking 2B There?

Hey pple... I suppose some of u might have seen myself and other instructors training ourselves during lunch time and dinner before, right?

Doing those quick and tight cornering within the circuit, and in and out thru pylons.

 

What if i had a chance to organize a day of an Advance Riding Course? I'll teach u more than what the school is teaching u. There will be a fee becuz i may rent a open road space for us.

 

If this can happen, i will teach things like;

- correct posture riding to enable better handle of ur bike.

- how to be quick/effective on accelaration and braking.

- E/brake and higher speeds. Skiding.

- Faster speed cornering in the safe way.

- Maybe even do a Lap time/time attack Race.

 

What do u guys think of this idea? if the response is good. Like maybe at least 20 pple.

Then i might be able to plan something.

Noted... i would like to teach track too, oneday. If confirm. i will let u know more details. It will take time to oragnize this. Hopfully by January if response is good.

I'm organizing this privately. Not with the school. So u have to use ur own bike. That's the whole point. U have to be skillful on ur own bike. not others.

Obesrve his leaning in posture, correct throttle timing, quick flipping of the bike and quick eye point.

Incorrect riding posture may caused that back pain. my gf rode up with me to cameron highlands. She rides an R6.

Must possess at least a class 2B and using ur own bike

 

If this can happen, i will teach things like;

for a start, we are probably "paying", or rather, sharing the booking/rental of the road

as long as we are properly geared, with proper allowance for a road to use, is there legalities issue?

 

even if the cost exceeds, i dun mind giving some more extra as kopi-money for an aquaintance

 

for a start, if i see it as an "OUTING", is there any issue?

if there is, then now about those threads that organise mass outing to Msia trips, do they have legalities involved???

Suggestion: Corse, as this is a personal arrangement you might like to add in disclaimers in order to get yourself covered.

 

Btw, the instructors in Japan, in their quest for excellence have 1 difference. Their insurance coverage.

If I didn't get this wrong, the company pays for all their medical bills for injuries substained during the course of their work for life.

 

As for riding posture, I ride a CBR400 to cameron and managed to arrive there fresh, no back ache problem. I do not know what I did right or wrong. But i know, I rode my bike the way I felt was most comfortable to me.

So i would start to try something out to teach new riders how to be more confident and skillful with their bikes.

 

B4 as an instructor, I myself have been a keen driver, learning handbrake turns on my own, fast speed turning. And a keen biker too.. Learning how to corner skillfully, etc... After becoming an instructor, WOW, there was so much more things to learn. I wish riders who are keen to learn more than wat the school teaches should have this knowledge and skill to imporve on better handling of their bikes and to ride safer on our roads.
