Hi all,

when we line up for road riding and upon return back. Do we check back left or right when we are lining up 2 by 2 on the slope ?

Right

Use this guideline. If line up 2 by 2:

Check inwards if turning left or going straight.

Check right if turning right.

Check inwards for left turn and going straight is for Class 2/2A test route.

Because for 2B test route, there is a junction where there 2 rows. those on the left will turn to the Fig 8. those on the right will be going straight. All will check back right.

Great thanks!!

I asked 2 instructors last night and got different answers so i was kind of confused

Sorry, but to be very honset, i trust that all instructors will teach the correct thing. Especially when it comes to check back.

Circuit slope. Check inwards

Main gate slope. Check right.

It's been raining lately. Every morning, after the rain stops, just take a piece of cloth (I'm using a Good Morning towel) and go wipe it down :D

All you need is motorcycle detergent (I'm using Autoglym), a sponge (cheap one because you're going to throw it away), a towel (to dry the bike) and a pail.

Autoglym products are good. I'm using them too. I spent $98.90 on them.

And just realize... i use them in order, from the left 1st to the right.

Hi guys, I'm going for my TTT on saturday and I was just wondering if there's any practice? Because I haven't gone for any practice sessions yet though. Currently onto my prac 3 now. Would my RTT be too late for me?

Might be a bit too late to book the practice for the TTT now actually, but just try lah. If there aren't any slots left, go to the SSDC e-learning website and do the questions they have at the end of each lesson, that should help too.

And yes, you'll probably have to wait a while.

How do you wash your bike? My place doesn't have a multi-storey carpark with those pay-as-you-use taps... Bring water down from the flat ah? Siong leh!

Yes, carry water to carpark! My partner used to do that for me but I'm beginning to do it myself (must be independent). So I have to go upstairs to refill during rinsing because I can't carry that much water...

I wash bike when it's sibeh dirty and only polish once in a while... polishing is sibeh siong.

u are going to tired urself out.. so what did u learn today... what is the prb?

for my first prac3 in the morning, plank seemed to be ok for me. Fell down but halfway through the lesson, I got the hang of it. Go up fast, let momentum drift you over and balance and tahan your way to the end, haha. Slalom was ok.

Went for my second one becauce I thought I would be able to clear it, since I got the hang of the plank. But this time it was really bad, fell off the plank almost 9/10 times. As for the slalom, it seems that I'm not doing it smooth enough. ;(

Yea, feeling kinda down because of the bad plank experience. I guess I'll just have to sleep and let what I learnt today sink in >_

Dun worry, last time i also scared of plank. Always drop at the bloody plank during lesson 3. But now, when I go back for my 2A, my favourite course is the plank, always challenge myself to stay on the plank longer each time.

What I usually do is, I throttle enough to get on the plank but not enough to go all the way if you know what I mean and use rear brake/ throttle if necessary to control the speed. Usually the instructors would tell you to look far, but I tend to look down so I can see whether my wheel gonna drop.

one question of out topic.

today was parking behind the thomson plaza condo.

then when i finish work and went to collect my bike, the position of the bike was 45 degree. ( when i park was along with the kerb )

i check liao, no damages or mirror or fairing crap.

one thing stuck my mind, someone tried to 'steal' my bike, but was unsuccesfull due to the handlebar lock?
