Wah everyone so happy got license already... I still at Lesson 2. I just went for the 8.10pm slot, my number tag was number 9. Narrow plank super intimidating the first few times man. Really dam scared before going on to it. However, I can feel myself getting better and having more control over the bike. Slalom still abit jerky though. Wah sian must come back again!!

BUT, I managed to get a 3.20pm slot on Saturday! Woohoo 2 lessons in one week. Feeling like on top of the world! If every week I can't even have at least one practical I will seriously feel dam sad man. I love learning at SSDC!

ah...the narrow plank...it was my nemesis too...but the instructor asked me to grip the tank with my thighs and never let go, no matter what...to focus on the pylon at the slalom course...to keep my body relaxed...to only move the handlebars to maneuver and not my shoulder...to stop at the dotted yellow lines after the e-brake and try balancing on that line before i go for narrow plank each round...and IT WORKED!

so go try it :-)

Completed my Lesson 2 today. Had a really pleasant time today as I was well-rested with 12+ hours of sleep the night before. Had full focus and made no mistakes! Clocked 8+ seconds on the narrow plank and cleared the slalom in 4+ seconds!

If it was not for the stupid drivers who kept stalling their vehicle, I would have had a really great time today.... T_T

the drivers that keep stalling is because they are there to learn, thats why they are in SSDC...

if u alredi had ur class 3 licence, you are those 'stupid drivers' once,

if u haven, you will be those 'stupid drivers' in future.

so u might wana think again before you speak...

You think they choose to purposely stall their cars? They're students like you too; no need for name calling.

going for my 2nd circuit revision tomorrow first slot before booking my lesson 4. still long way to go. I went for my circuit revision two weeks back and was confused why the instructor asked me if i have booked for the TP test. Then i realised the revision lesson is mixed with those who passed lesson 3 onwards, meaning some are actually waiting for the TP test.

Sorry, didn't mean to be offensive. :( Guess I was kinda pissed on that day, as one of the drivers stalled and the car nearly rolled back and onto me. Just gotta be patient with everyone.

wat do u think?

if u got notice, private students dun stall their engine as much as sch students:sian:

sch students really stall their engine countless times, somemore they drive very slow.

last time i learnt, first few lessons only stall 2 times max, then nv stall liao.

i take private yrs ago btw

School students are confine in the circuit till latter lessons, while private students were thrown on the road and only do circuits enough to handle TP.

Hence private students are more likely be more proficient with controlling the vehicle and judgements because they can't help it because they are on the real road, handling real traffic straight from start.

I was private student also, handling the crazy ubi traffic twice a week while I was training 7 years ago, I don't remember much circuit trainings, just enough to know how to do the course.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

I'd like to highlight that...This is only meant for Class 3 students
