Rise in 2B Insurance ?

Hi guys... I heard that those that passed their 2B liscence within year 2007 have to now pay $650+(3rd party) for their insurance ? Is this news true ???

hmm.. no la.. premium is up if u buy ur bike this year in 2007. even muitsui insurance goes up. for riders with less than 1yr riding exp, now all must pay the extra 150

When i first passed my 2B riding a kr sportsbike was paying like $400 for 3rd party only

 

Now i am 25 with all NCB and discounts , i paying $235

 

All with mitsui

 

Insurance will drop when u hit 26 yrs and the next tier at 30 / 31 yrs

How do i know? because I've just signed up for a premium with them. You might want to check with other insurance companies first. Theirs are lower for some bike models and age.

i checked with S1 Motoring and bike productions..they both said the same thing that insurance for those just passed this yr has rised

i believe there is a genral rise for insurance for pple who juz passed ( 2B and jus pass only recently )

 

may be due to higher claims of late ( many bikes accident & lost / stloen )?

3rd party $800+? Thats like day light robbery. I paid $821 last year when my age age 24 with NTUC riding CB6 04 model.

Yah it's true.. I juz applied insurance with mitsui last december and the old lady told me lucky u came this yr. If not from 2007 onwards, those with less den 1 yr of riding experience will haf to pay minimum $150 more for their insurance, regardless of wad parties, age or bike.
