I used to put perfume. I used to use hair gel. I used to wear nice clothes. And then i started riding.

And all that, just gone in an instant.

Haha. Now it's just dirt on your face, flat hair, oil on your shirt smelling of exhaust fumes....Ahhh, the pleasures of riding!

I sometimes have to pity some doctors and nurses. They take care of really serious interesting patients.

They go to toliet, do whatever business. Has to shower and change into new clothes, so the smell (water droplets/vapours) of whatever transpired in that toliet does not cling to them, while tending to the patients at 13 degree celsius ward rooms. Has to wear new masks and gloves and even aprons everytime in that room.

Like those cleanroom workers.

I find it particularly strange when I smell perfume on other people when I go running. Is that the same reason why you put on perfume when you go riding?

1) Wet wipes tend to dry up real fast when you open the packets. So it should stay in the bag and backpack.

2) Not many people uses mouthwash after meals. You usually dont smell it, until you wear full face and burp your lunch smells.

3) Water kept in the bike....well, tend to deteriote with our odd high temperature, and some of us dont fill our water bottles/refresh it often enough. Only good for washing hands and rinsing off the bike actually.

My preference is those mini bottles of Johnson Lavendar Baby Oil, to oil my hands before wearing gloves and rub off old stains on skin. It smells nice too so it function as a fragrance for me.

Your best bet for your fragrance to stick to you after riding. Is to consider the following.

1) Get a good quality cologne. Example is Chanel Egoiste Platinum. Spritz at vital hidden points on your body.

2) Layer the scent with showergels, lotions, deodarants, powder and then the cologne

3) Wear a lightweight riding jacket when riding. Spritz the jacket insides with the cologne too, to maintain the consistent smells.

Why a good quality cologne, because it will mesh with your own body sweat and stick to your body better.

Layering, you can consult your g/f and wife about how.

Riding jackets kinda envelop your body and retain the smells while you are riding. Not to mention protect you a bit.

The Nivea deodarants works very well on plenty of 'manly' smells males who rides, so far.....(professional pillion experience.)

I didnt think it was intentional. If its early morning 5/6am people run with perfume, I will find it strange. No idea when you run though.

Most folks usually runs after work or their day finishing, so they still have residue perfume smells on them. Running heat up the residues and well makes you smell of perfume.

Some are not perfumes, some people might just be shy of their own smells, and has deodarants on them, that are heated and diffused out from their body when they run.

Wrist got pulse point, got movement and heat. So can slowly spread your smell.

Not to rub on lah. Just spray/dab on to various points. Behind the ears, side of the neck on your wrist, insides of your elbows knees and even on top of your ankle.

Avoid spraying on your clothes, because some cologne are so lasting, they put thru the wash and comes up stinking up your shirts when it mixed with detergent.

You can also spray on top of your chest, where your heart beats. Or for girls, spray onto a cotton pad, hide that said cotton pad in the bra. I have ever spray a hankerchief, kept in my jeans pocket and it kept me smelling of that fragrance whole day.
