I'm not happy, I lost to a Hyundai Getz in drag... riding a PCX 125 cc

I've already changed the variator, rollers and air box. What else can be done to turn the PCX into a drag monster?

Don't really want to change to a bigger bike yet, but I'd like to see how much it is possible to squeeze out from this puny engine. ^^

Put turbo, change gearing, big bore, race ecu, race exhaust, remove the thing that charges your battery, lighter flywheel, race camshaft, stronger valve springs, high compression pistons and skimmed cylinder head, remove all the fairings, use silver spark plugs, smaller tyres ....

Or you can just trade in for a 2 stroker

Your mods not even consider heavy modded. You can do more before complaining. Look at aftermarket off the shelve products, if unavailable then u have to mod on your own trial and error(example port the head instead of swapping for large valve head).

Transmission you can still do clutch, clutch bell, contra spring, torque convertor, belt, Dr pulley rollers if available.

Engine wise, stroker, big bore, raise compression, larger valves, performance cam, HD valve springs, manifold and throttle body.

If you find big bore expensive, then I think the rest of the stuff that takes more effort and money, out of the question. Many a times, engine failure is part and parcel of chasing performance. If you are not prepared then changing to another bike is easiest option.

In the small bike tuning world, the Honda horizontal engine is the most extensively modded engine. It is used in many pitbikes, underbones and others like honda cub or sachs madass. They even have ducati's desmos valve and dry clutch conversion. Also DOHC 4 valve. If you like tuning small bikes you might take a look at TAKEGAWA, KITACO, DAYTONA some companies that specialises.

Oh yea, ultimately it's about how much you willing to spend. I doubt much people will spend alot on a PCX as opposed to a collector bike like Honda Monkey or the likes.

class 2 will take a while >.> especially since I just passed 2B last december. Kinda regret selling that X9 I had though... but since I'm stuck with this now, why not "improve" it. ^^
