hmmm which of the above is the biggest 2A cruiser? my guess would be the dragstar classic... though the ACE looks darn nice with the 40 degree upwards pointing tank...

I saw the Suzuki Intruder recently. It seems like it looks really low. And the tank looks like a sporster look....

Current intruder u saw on road not of 04 model, which i forgot to mention that the specs i provided above is based on current 04 version choppers thus not very sure if there is any different in specs. but if anyone out there is looking for a big bike, go for suzuki intruder classic which is also shaft driven as dragstar except with a much bigger tank, good for touring in my honest opinion.

ok.. seems on paper, the intruder seems the biggest.. but when u look at the bike in real life, i guess it's a whole different ball game :cheeky: and the intruder has that big a gas tank! goodness!

ya ... anyone know which shop sell? how much? nice?

U might want to check with a sai, he had a view on a bigger version of intruder classic lately, maybe there is a 400cc version in the shop as well.

Well there are some bikes shops which i went do see intruder 400cc but for a older version.

The prices are roughly 2 to 3 k for a renewed intruder quoted from a bike shop.

I did ever seen one which really done up the bike to the extrem of accerories and chorming too.

Nice digit 55.

That bike works on shaft and really do have those origin typical chopper looks.

I saw the intruder at GHC before Mah motors for the normal looking 400cc suzuki intruder........

Hmm. There is Moto Shop which approach me to sell me a FQ plate intruder for 3K plus.. It is the old version of the intruder. That one not so nice. But I saw one intruder last nite at Dunman Road Hawker, it looks very nice. Perhaps that is a new version. I really the new intruder looks very nice!

As for Enginer and performance, cannot comment. Only seen the Bike.

K. Let Intruder answer the Intruder's question. Most of the Intruder here in Singapore mostly is 400cc, 800cc and 1400cc(which one of our forum friend is riding).

There are even 125cc.

Intruder is a nice bike with many big chromed parts.

This is the VS 800 GL Intruder.

http://www.bikez.com/bike/20026/index.jpg

Intruder 1400.

http://sg.rd.yahoo.com/search/imgview/image/*http://www.neositesolutions.com/engines/images/Intruder1400.jpg

The 400cc-1400cc Intruders are built on same base design. Classical chopper look. Perhap the vertical measurement of the engine bay to tank frame is different as to accomodate the longer engine.(not sure, nvr compare side by side). Bigger Inturders oil cooled. Smaller Intruders are cooled by coolant.

Nice bike if you are those hardcore chopper maniac. Skinny bike as side is not as fat as Shadow.

I sold my Intruder cos the engine was giving tapping sounds which i suspect the valve cleareance is out. Send to bike shop they said about 600 buck to drop the engine....dann chopping shop to service my chopper.

Suzuki's bike usually buy high but sell low. It seems like a trend for it. Bought my Intruder for $5500 excludes 3 boxes. FP plate. Dann! Traded in for $2500 for my Slasher. Some shop even quoted that it only worth COE price!:help: :giddy:

Good points.

Shaft driven, lotsa chrome parts. With build-in sissy bar for pillion to rest.

Badpoints.

Tube tires, skinny sides which not really good for fat butts like mine. Got to sell low price if push back to bikeshop. or worst no price....Unless you want to ride till it's end.

Nothing else much for it's bad points.

Yes, i changed a rectifier and 2 batts during my 1.5 yrs ride on it.

Practice make perfect....But since Nothing is perfect, Why practice so hard? by Cowboy Wong....

I didn't know I already in love with my Slow Little Greenie until recently almost selling her away...how can like that? :faint:
