Class 2B cruisers are already reliable for long trips up north. Tried, tested and proven. :)

yes bro... been riding to mersing for 4 hours on phantom and quite enjoyed it.

butta for speed cant go above 120 and abit uncomfortable riding position (butt ache)..

and for 2A cruisers like dragstar and steed are decade old bikes... are their engines still reliable ? still comfy and problem-fee ride ?

Of course they are reliable. But if you are worried, you could consider a brand new Dragstar Classic, Shadow ACE or Suzuki Boulevard. On the contrary, the 400cc cruisers are more decently designed for comfort in my opinion and they are many whom have tested these bikes up North without much of a issue.

anyone knows this model ?

This is a very old motorcycle and not exactly a cruiser by its theme. I have previously posted some information on this model thus, you may want to perform a search in the cruiser forum. :)

thanks Nights, and i am considering for 2A cruisers and older bikes are affordable, but on the other hand, worried for repair costs, wear and tear parts, if i go north.

I've checked the cruiser section with much interest and eager to learn about such shadow, steed, dragstar, boulevard.

may be i should be patient for another 1 year for class 2 that i can have more choice :)

Get the dragstar lor for temp. Low maintenance shaft driven. Going quite cheap too. NDR selling. It's Kruzer tested and proven too. It's a good bike to either hold on or use as a stepping stone for your class 2. Can ask him for details in you what.

Well, you got to consider your pocket if you are worried about the maintenance or repair cost because, a Class 2 motorcycle would incur more than a Class 2A motorcycle.
