It's different than a DragStar 1100cc in the sense of the rims (sports to spokes) respectively...

 

change clutch housing? Something I ain't sure. Rear brake powder?

Hi guys, new here.

 

been reading up a little on the dragstar.

 

Understand there's basically Dragstar Classic and Dragstar Custom. The Custom is lower right, and has the skinnier fork?

 

What CCs are available in Spore? Only 400 and 1100 for both? No 650 right?

 

Also, any big difference in performance betw Classic and Custom?

 

Personally, think the custom (orange ones that I've seen last time) look nice becos i like the long and low profile.

 

any info would be appreciated. thanks. btw: have a class 2 licence. used to ride fatboy but tht was like 6 yrs ago!

Hi, the DragStar in the pic is a 1100cc. And it's not at all customised. Just some stuffs removed and added here and there. U can surf to http://www.vstar.ws owned by sgstarrider where there's a link to the American V-Star 650cc and U can view all the modded V-Star..

 

Anyway, U were saying abt the orange Custom DragStar. I am 1 of them who still own it.

If you buy a new 2006 dragstar classic 400cc from Hong Leong ( http://www.hlcorp.com.sg/yamaha-motor/ ), it's about 13k - on the road.

 

The new model changed the trip-meter to digital one (can save 2 trip mileage info and has a clock also).

 

The front fork top mounting panel is changed to chrome surface.

 

Hong Leong has a displaying set in the show room, that can let you take a detailed look.

Nopes, no accessories at all.. mine's normal. With 2 RJays soft saddlebags which my "bro" sgstarrider sold to me. I intend to repaint the bike. Left till 2009 to go, I shld be upgrading to a bigger bike.

Just got my dragstar lately.. Glad to join the family of cruisers..

 

Mine's a FR plate with less than 10,000kms on it.. Am spending some time to mod it up.. Latest addition is a cobra python 3 exhaust system.. Sounds louder than a Harley.. Haha.. Went to Seng Kwang to have a muffler made to "cover" up the sound so not to get stopped by TP..

 

Any ideas on how to "zheng" up the bike further?

 

Will post some pics of my bike up later..

Spent quite a bit on my draggy already.. I'm a little of a hardcore chap in terms of modding & maintaining my bikes..

 

Thinking of getting an airbrush paintwork done but heard that it's quite ex.. Chrome rims are a little off rite now as I got a quote from a US site for $5000..

how do u wanna mod up yur bike? dragstars have very good structure to be modded.. the pic is my sig is my dragstar's previous look... have sinced changed.. black.. long and low now.. looks alot tougher... come out for coffee if u are interested to see wat it looks like now. haha. if u really keen to do hands on stuff to yur dragstar let me know.
