Hmmm. Price wise, they are considered competitive if purchase from japan webike..

Very nice illustration. The NCX has got a skinny a$$ thus it may not look nice with broad panniers, that's my opinion.

That's correct, BS will only order if someone pays a deposit and waiting time is around 2 months.

Hi all, the NC700X definitely interest me. Where would you recommend me to get one? Besides Boon Siew.. Which is obviously too far east. I stay in Jurong btw.

 

What's the price like nowadays? The last I heard is ard 17k OTR w/o insurance. And the interest rate from various shops?

That weird. There is a posting from BS stating the price of each model.

I mean they won't bring in combine abs with dct in one model version.

Basic model or abs model or dct model still have. Combined model don't have.

Yes, I agree. The DCT is the high end type with everything less the main stand, hugger, fender extender etc....

Guess they don't bring in the touring version. (with box, main stand all included)..

 

I think some countries do have the touring version if i'm not wrong..

Where got sell?? Go back find the BS sales man say you want DCT model.. then when collect bike that time.. screw him.. say you wanted a DCT without a ABS... haha..

As what other peeps mention, you need to get BS to intent the stock for you which take a 2 months also..

 

Based on what i heard, Loois did carried the DCT model.. what is what i heard.. but once it is not BS bike, don't think BS will cover the warranty..

1. Main stand.. (So can pump malaysia petrol to the fullest... haha)

2. Wind shield.. (hide under the shield when raining)

3. Hugger.. (Prevent dirt from getting into your shock)

4. Fender extender (Prevent stones from front wheel hitting the radiator)

5. Handguard (Prevent stones from hitting your hand)

6. Boxes (to increase your storage from 1 helmet to 2 helmet)

7. Voltmeter (to monitor your battery, don't think DCT can push start)

8. BMW hand grips (better comfort on the palm)

9. Crashbar (to protect the naked engine when you drop your bike)

10. Temperature meter?? (Guess there is no temperature gauge on the bike)

 

Guess that is about it! anything that i miss out??

Not reali defects lar but its juz dat è rubber linin gets harden when exposed to è sun thus water gets in when it rains/bike wash.

È lock mechanism is not dat durable too...

Touratech are available in 38L and 48L. The 48L is enough to put a helmet. The boxes are all very deep, thus imo, if you just need luggage space, the 38L is more than enough.

 

Touratech do sell their boxes very modular-ly. You can buy the box, the lock, and the mounting set separately. That is because, for each bike specific set, there is a difference in more in or outwards they are.

 

They uses a 3/4 or 1/2" tubular rectangle shape frame for their mounting rack, so, the good thing is it's not that difficult if you wanna customize. But you gotta make sure the shop, SKMIC or Ah Ann have tubular metal of the small thickness.

Otherwise, you can just buy a frame from Touratech and mod it.

 

as for the Xplorer. Yeah, technically speaking, it isn't consider as defects. Just bad materials used. Not just the rubber, but the plastic on the box crack.
