Bro, $10 include workmanship. I had changed my EO about 4 times since I got my bike.

 

Wow bro, u change at which side?? Personally I always see Chris charge $10 for the EO itself and another $2 for labour..

I hav a buddy who is doing just that. Putting motor oil for cars on his bike is. Full synthetic RP 15w40. Now alr at 5k.

 

What he said was full syn is made to run 10-12k. At 5k hes still getting smooth gear changes. Even w/o oil filter. Anyways he said anything bad can be felt when you ride. Serious he said.

 

So, anyone wants to share any inputs here. Real stories tho. And mind you some engine kaput not bcause of eo but lack of eo.

 

Me on my part, I'm just curious. Is there really any truth to wAt he says.

without an oil filter, its not about using fully syn or what. Metal bits and sludge(if any) are being circulated around the engine.

on a hayabusa

bike move off at a higher rev than car thus break eo dw faster (sumting liek tat)

thus it is totally nt suitable or a nono for bike using car eo....

Me using it.... Did a run test with Maxima 20w to KL the engine oil level droped half on the dip stick (1 way).

 

Then change to Elf 10w50 (due to out of stock of maxima)

Went to Penang the EO level didnt even drop much just very slightly.(2way)

 

But I notice Elf after ard 1000km the gear changing not so smooth as maxima...

of cos the mech said only for big cc bikes ... he did not recommand me this product when i was riding 600cc ...

 

price wise is $120 per 4 l of oils

 

but the feeling i can achive with a motorex full syn oils ... about $11/bottles savings ....

no indication of contents PAO or ester.

it more like hydro-crack full syn (semi-syn class A type).

after 1k km, my air/oil cool engine start running rough n gearshifting gets tougher n harder.
