Sim Lim Square can really be dodgy. A friend of mine sent his macbook pro for diagnosis - his screen no display - and after he was quoted price to repair he decided not to proceed. When he took back his laptop and opened it up he realized the hdd was missing. Upon closer inspection the battery had been changed, the hdd cable changed, and god knows what else they took. He made a police report but was told they couldn't help him...
