errm.. most probably might be that your clutch plates or clutch housing is loose... that's why when you clutch in then the sound is gone.. that is my humble opinion lah..

just to ask what brakepad, brake disc are u guys using?

those which can "eat" even when ur brakedisc is soak with rainwater one....

go do floating disk and brembo 19 20 master pump lo.. maybe ur wish can come true la.. disk just use stock one lo..

its all abt the disk n the pad dont ya?? brake pump is just the respond ya?? normal stock one for ebrake somehow will lag abit.. unless the pump, host, caliper u really go service till vr power.. :cheeky:

Let me shed some of my noob light about brakes..

 

You can be usin the best brake pads..Hose (not host) and even brake fluid and calipers but if the bleedin done to your brakes is not good your brakes will still be not good..Most important thing is that the bleedin must be done right and good..The rest simply helps makin it slightly better..

Clutch housing problem. Common with SP.

I had it too. But fixed in JB.

Total cost 115RM i think.

Include changing of casket casing(shld be , 4got exact name smth to do wif casket) , EO and the rubber thingy.

They will take out , change the rubber thing , and knock knock knock on ur round metal thing.

Its located at ur right side , look at the engine got the main black round casing with HONDA on it. They will open up and take out inside thing and knock.

Only some shop will repair in JB due to the risk of spoiling. I heard they dont sell that part in msia , only sg , and its blardy costly

 

Anyway I'm not sure does it affect ur bike power or not cos for me i don't feel much diff bah. Maybe pickup improve abit.

Main thing is at neutral/start bike dont have the irritating knock knock sound like the bike wan spoil liao lidat

 

IF you dun wanna fix it , tune ur idle rpm higher than current , like 1.5-2k. The sound will be gone. But nxt day start bike the sound will come back , but only during start bike of the day.

 

Don't know about others but thats what i've personally experienced

i dun have plan to buy cl 2 bike ma.. so most prob i will ride rvf for long le.. if u wanna upgrade cl 2 or cl 3, den maybe juz buy cheap cheap bike.. maybe gsxr4 or cbr4 or s4.. unless u got cash to burn, if not dun buy rvf.. lolx..
