then receive a call need go for parade rehersal on wed n thurs . fri actual!

wednesday go for parade rehersal. went a few rounds cannot find camp super suay! late liao think late 30mins. just walk to the parade square. heng no bother scold me or anything
thursday go do parade rehersal again damn sian.
lunch also quite boring.
life is so boring.
now im back at home trying to a super long post.

And during the Platoon Commander (PC) interview during the BMT course, I highlighted the project and my educational credentials (technical background) to him ... Ended up in Ordnance Engineering Training Institute (OETI) and received my training on Comms equipment - but ended up with a vocation, in which I handle vehicular repairs ...

im at selarang camp. although its near my place (i live bedok), but due to the projects my LTC is handling, it might require me to go outfield to pasir laba camp or lim chu kang. @#$@$ man! although i can claim petrol if i ride my bike there. BUT IT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING MY CAMP NEAR MY HSE.

and furthur more, according to my upperstudyman (the guy im gonna take over), although they say clerk is office hours, but he goes home later than 5.30 usually! and the latest he ever clocked was 11pm - 12am.

then whats the purpose of 'stay out'?! #@$#@ man.

im seriously considering requesting to be posted to taiwan to be clerk there if theres an opening and no one wants it.

good pay, and i get the explore taiwan on weekends, and time will pass faster too. by the time i come back i will have maybe 6 - 8 mths of NS left. not so depressing as compared to now. LOL.

WARNING: If you an't in the mood to read this essay abt my f**ked up past 2wks, then please skip to the next post. I'm going thru a crazy period, losing myself, and I dont have anywhere to vent it, so im just going to type all this sh*t out here and maybe it might offer me some sense of consolation.

At least i still at you to fall back on.
And then, in a blink of an eye, you left too, and since the start of last week, i've been waking up to a sinking feeling every morning; crying every day, and simply stonning the nights away til my exhuasted body finally collapses into my bed.
The sense of loss is unexplainable, though i am alive physically, my soul is dead.
And as if living like a ghost the past week wasn't bad enough, more sh*t awaited me yesterday.

I dare say i was pretty darn rich last yr cuz of my full time job, but i was a fool to spend it all living the high life (before i bought my bike), and now im struggling to work to save, & im starting school in a month, which means soon there'll be no more time for work.

Yes, I AM STRESSED. Mentally, emotionally, physically & financially worn out. And let's not even mention the spiritual part :X

While i was stil busy focussing on my rpm, suddenly, ***FLASH***..................
Then my heart just sank.
and sank,
and sank.

Which amazed me a little, cuz i thought that over the past week, my heart had already sunken so low it could not possibly sink any further.
Guess i was wrong. After that flash of speed cam lightning across the road, i was just so darn upset. Felt like giving up on everything.

Ironic? This is beyond irony; it's life being plain cruel to me

And now how am i to chiong for $ at work when im doing dispatch and my bike is running-in? NICE.

Absolutely great. I'll be the first to admit that i am someone who doesnt handle stressful situations well; i'll flare up fer a moment, then i just break down. And that's what i feel has been happening over an over and over again this week.
Maybe im weak, but i think losing so many important things in ur life all at once (rship with mum, a dear pet, a lover) plus facing all this sh*t on top of it, is enough to make anyone crash & burn, even people stronger than i am.

Just noticed your post while checking back on the past few pages. Although I have never been through any sort of relationship in my life, I know that it is hard to accept a loss â€“ let alone multiple incidences. Well, not many people have the resilience to bounce back from a situation - in which trial after trial is hurled at you. I really salute you for your resilience in coping with this down-period ...

In the past few months, I have been facing issues that made me break down repeatedly as well. It's something to do with the void and emptiness in my life. For me, I simply report to camp every day to do my work, go back home to settle even more contractual work, and that's it. Nothing else in my life. Period. No channel for de-stressing because I don't have a liking for sports, and I do not take delight in being a couch potato or infusing myself in addictive computer games. Weird I am, but well - it's my choice.

I shall not elaborate too much because all these is off-topic - don't want to clutter the thread. But my near future is very uncertain. In fact I am contemplating requesting for a change to a stay-in vocation. And imagine me voluntarily taking duties on my upcoming birthday - simply because life outside my NS duties has no meaning for me.

Talking about surges of stress, crazy periods and losing oneself - I found this article on stress management, that is in line with building a healthy spiritual life. Originally ripped off another rider's Friendster :-X, I hyperlinked some of the references and re-formatted the article for readability. The article has been attached to this post.

Sometimes, the blows do come in waves and surges. XH closed, over-and-above repair work, forgetting items, the pain of running-in (yes, I have went through that before), a traffic offence and worse still, damage to your bike. If all these happened to me, I guess I would have seriously contemplated stopping riding for some time.

Sure, anyone who is in dire need of cash will want to "chiong" for money ... However, risk mitigation is necessary - especially when you are riding while being down and not up to form. Replaying memories in your mind and forgetting to check that mirror or blind spot could have dire consequences. So many hazards exist on the road, and it takes only one to hurt. It's great to be having a job (dispatch) that is in line with your passion for riding - so ride safe and defensively always.

When I was running-in previously (due to a piston change), I kept the RPM down by using the engine sound as a rough gauge. When I hear the valve opening, I know it's too high. I only glanced at the meters occasionally. Do pay attention to what's ahead and beside, instead of focusing too much on that meter - I almost rear-ended a taxi while staring at the speedometer, when I was running-in.

Guess this is the longest post that I've ever made in this forum ... Haha. Do cheer up, take care, and remember that the Lord is always there for you - in any situation you may face. hi robyn. I suggest you take a break. Seems like you are getting rather disoriented.(not charging phone, forget helmet etc). But again, cost of owning a vehicle in singapore comes with a price. If you love what you do, be strong, bite the bullet and move on. sad to hear about your mishaps which could be avoided. For the piston.. well take it as an upkeeping cost.

anyway you can always call me if you need company for night riding. but not too often lah my 125z drink petrol like i own an oil company in middle east. LOL.

hahaha.. during my ns life.. i was a mechanic... clutch slips... engine overhauls... 4k 8k servicing.. were our daily tasks... brake booster replacement are my first tasks... lol.

i hate clutch slips...

have to take out entire engine out of the Rover/GD90/3ton/5tone (old type)/7tone/ The Recker...

then have to take it at the side.. take out all the clutch housing and previous clutch plates... then ~!@$@#%^%$ at the drivers who drives the vehicle...

then change le.. have to put it to torque... etc... assemble back all the electrical components... then put back the engine into the frame... then have to shake it so tat gear shaft completely go inside the clutch housing.. dunnoe wat they call that la..

Just noticed your post while checking back on the past few pages. Although I have never been through any sort of relationship in my life, I know that it is hard to accept a loss â€“ let alone multiple incidences. Well, not many people have the resilience to bounce back from a situation - in which trial after trial is hurled at you. I really salute you for your resilience in coping with this down-period ...

In the past few months, I have been facing issues that made me break down repeatedly as well. It's something to do with the void and emptiness in my life. For me, I simply report to camp every day to do my work, go back home to settle even more contractual work, and that's it. Nothing else in my life. Period. No channel for de-stressing because I don't have a liking for sports, and I do not take delight in being a couch potato or infusing myself in addictive computer games. Weird I am, but well - it's my choice.

I shall not elaborate too much because all these is off-topic - don't want to clutter the thread. But my near future is very uncertain. In fact I am contemplating requesting for a change to a stay-in vocation. And imagine me voluntarily taking duties on my upcoming birthday - simply because life outside my NS duties has no meaning for me.

Talking about surges of stress, crazy periods and losing oneself - I found this article on stress management, that is in line with building a healthy spiritual life. Sometimes, the blows do come in waves and surges. XH closed, over-and-above repair work, forgetting items, the pain of running-in (yes, I have went through that before), a traffic offence and worse still, damage to your bike. If all these happened to me, I guess I would have seriously contemplated stopping riding for some time.

Sure, anyone who is in dire need of cash will want to "chiong" for money ... However, risk mitigation is necessary - especially when you are riding while being down and not up to form. Replaying memories in your mind and forgetting to check that mirror or blind spot could have dire consequences. So many hazards exist on the road, and it takes only one to hurt. It's great to be having a job (dispatch) that is in line with your passion for riding - so ride safe and defensively always.

When I was running-in previously (due to a piston change), I kept the RPM down by using the engine sound as a rough gauge. When I hear the valve opening, I know it's too high. I only glanced at the meters occasionally. Do pay attention to what's ahead and beside, instead of focusing too much on that meter - I almost rear-ended a taxi while staring at the speedometer, when I was running-in.

Guess this is the longest post that I've ever made in this forum ... Haha. Do cheer up, take care, and remember that the Lord is always there for you - in any situation you may face. erm i nv experience this. is there other symthoms? like when moving off bike got no power, then abit jerky and need to maintain half clutch and open more trottle to overcome the problem.? i am currently suffering some problem.
