Hi bros,

 

i hope this is the correct section to post here.

 

 

i have this problem here, today while riding back home after work, when approaching red light, while droping gear, from gear 3 i cant kick to gear 2, the lever jammed there, den my bike stall. . .i pull the clutch and tried to go to neutral also cannot, den i off and on the ignition, all the lightings not working too, including headlight, ignition light etc.. . . .i just changed new batteries last week ago. . .so what do you guys think the problem is?

 

Then i "push start" can, lightings all working including my headlight. . . .so i rode off with my head light on. . .den again approaching red light the same problem occurs. . .i have to push start again. . .this time round i tried riding with my headlights off. Then can ride all the way til my hse carpark.

 

I think there's some battery problem or something, What u guys think?

Possible magnetic coil not charging, off headlamp and try riding to see if problem is still there. If u could , use a voltmeter to measure ur battery voltage. It should be above 13.5v when ur rpm is above 3000 or around there.

 

If it is a coil fault , then ur gonna need to set aside 200 to 250 sgd at least. As for ur clutch.. kinda no link to the lighting problems.

 

Anyway by the time u get class2 , suzuki at least came out with k12 liao lol.

if the lever jammed then it could be the clutch bush or the shifting fork seizure.it can interfere with electronics.

 

Your stator components in the magneto coil's contact point to the ignition coil of the spark plug could be puffed out leading to improper charging.

 

Not to frighten you but these are specific diagnostics.

 

If I have an additional Stator comp right now can do for you but bring to any reputable shop and see if there are any other problems that are accompanying ths problem.

hi guys..i am from the kr forum...one of my friends just got into a accident 2 days ago and passed away...he was also riding sp...please be careful on the roads and be aware of people tailgating or riding dangerously...

 

i heard he was knocked from the back by another biker and lost control of the bike and ran into the divider..went into coma with sever injuries to the spine and he didnt make it..

 

the dangers are real and especially since we are riding small bikes with relatively low power compared to the big guys we should take special care to be sure of our riding surroundings.. and also alot of us here jus got our licenses and are young and reckless me included..so please all be careful and not let a moments folly turn deadly..
