We would like to inform you that the vehicle number plate shall be placed not more than 1 metre from the ground in a vertical position. The number plate normally has white, silver or light grey letters and figures on a black background. However, if the number plate is made of reflex reflecting material, the front number plate will consist of black letters and figures on a white background; and the rear number plate will consist of black letters and figures on a yellow background.

For the front number plate, it shall meet the following requirements:

(a) the letters and figures are 70 mm high, 50 mm wide and 10 mm broad;

(B) the space between adjoining letters and between adjoining figures shall be 10 mm;

(d) a margin between the nearest part of any letter or figure and the top or bottom of the number plate shall be 10 mm;

(e) a margin between the nearest part of any letter or figure and the sides of the number plate shall be 20 mm.

In the case of the front number plate of motorcycle, the above dimensions may be reduced by half.

For the rear number plate of motorcycle, it shall meet the following requirements:

(a) the letters and figures are 50 mm high, 30 mm wide and 5 mm broad;

(B) the space between adjoining letters and between adjoining figures shall be 10 mm;

(d) a margin between the nearest part of any letter or figure and the top, bottom and sides of the number plate shall be 10 mm.

We have no objection for you to add your name at the bottom of the number plate provided that it is not within the margin of the number plate. You are to ensure that no other figures or letters and no design advertisement or ornamentation shall be placed near the identification mark in such a manner as to be liable to render it more difficult to read or distinguish the identification mark of the vehicle when in motion.

Morning...

Wat is the motul brand that u all common using ar? Cuz mi and Anonymous wanna to bring in m'sia motul and sell. From lower to higher grade.

lol... today i went to my fazie at my mscp, saw a TP (bike) came up (level 1b) and parked at a car lot... then he got down, look around, then he rode off...

then when i was moving off, doing downwards to level 1a, i saw he was at my SP, looking at my SP chassis number as well as communicating to HQ... so i stopped there and asked him what's up with my bike that he is checking... maybe he is checking with HQ on my bike and wanna summon already cus number plate was not there (it was stolen last weekend)... i shown him my police report case card...

so he said it's an offense not to have number plate on vehicle... asked me when i'm going to replace my number plate... i said probably this weekend, see how cus i'm busy, giving him a dull face too... hahaha~

then i noticed that he was staring at my fazie as if like looking for illegal stuffs like that... maybe his bike was kinda smaller in size than mine or shorter... mine kinda taller and longer compared to him... side boxes also bigger than him... i hack care him and jus rode off... lol...

hmmm... would like to ask if anyone here know that parking a bike in mscp without a number plate is it an offense?

lol.. complain to police that there is some one loitering aound ur bike lor.. btw.. mscp is multi storey carpark ar?

nice google-ing... thanks! i'm thinking of doing my own sticker format for the front of my fazie with black 3M reflective background and white wordings once i change my stock wind shield to sport touring double bubble wind shields...

complain also no use la... police will not bother de... last time got some punks stayed at the park under my block and chat loudly like no one's business at wee hours, called up the police then i monitor from my room... no one came at all lo... :sian:

i nvr redo license plate before so i not sure....but i think definately cheaper....total cost i think less den $5? on top can put name on the plate since u doing urself???wahaha

even if that guy didn't put a 'S' in front, he also can check thru his system wad, right?
i don't see a pt where everyone else didn't display their season coupon and didn't get fine and yet i get, right?
i would most probably think that he accidentally (or plain lazy) keyed in an additional 'S' and system checks that this number has no season coupon at this area, then he never double check and print out the slip le.
this shows how incompetent these people are.

haha... well.. ppl tend to make mistakes ma...

but i wonder lei.. the ticketing machine(the machine that prints out the fine) so small the buttons so little also can key wrong... haaha...

but in this case, this mistake is good because u manage to save $$ without a coupon...

i check with my bike plate number, FQxxxxX, dun have.

check with SFQxxxxX, also dun have.

then i check with the notice number, it said "Notice waived. Payment not required." hahahahaha~ :angel:

ya lo... i wanted to ask him back, wad offense is it that i dun have my number plate on my bike and it's parking in mscp now... but i have no time to play with this staff sergeant... ;D
i might suspect it could be someone (aunties / primas / hdb ppl) reported that this bike have no number plate as well as no season coupon... ;D it's super duper rare to see TP bikes in mscp, unless reported cases... : )

given that there are sooooo many missing sp ..

i wont be surprised if ppl go and tip off to the TP, somemore no number plate.

or maybe a fella saw that the SP looks like his missing SP, so called the police up to see if its his?

ur SP missing b4. u shud know how it feels to have ur bike missing and everything.

the TP is trying to do his job, to investigate and hopefully help find those missing bikes back?

dont be too grudgeful towards them la.

most probably i can think is that how come this number plate so long still haven pay up. wanna issue warning letter or court letter le. but suddenly check that this SFQxxxxX is not a valid number in SG. and hence checked that there is only FQxxxxX in SG but it was covered with season coupon le at the pt of offense. hence they suck thumb and waive it off. hahahaha! ;D
