caberg flip up for sure.. $280 with psb sticker from ah boy i believe.

if you looking for cheap range there's the mfizz ones at like around $130-140? but its damn heavy and bulky.

Get the AGV numo which TP themselves are using.. If TP approve i think it wun go wrong. Haa... Look for Regina Ah Loong. I think spent abit more get a better quality helmet esp the leather of the other brand tends to crack after awhile.

ok man. i dont really like the general fit of agv for my head shape but i will check it out. roughly how much?

For $200, there are few options you can go for.

Namely,

Zeus ZS3000-A - available from Regina

Caberg Konda - available from Regina

HJC IS-MAX - available from Motoworld

AGV Longway II - available from Helmetboys

The Zeus ZS 3000-A is PSB approved while the Caberg Konda does not, this also applies to the HJC IS-MAX

The Caberg Konda have a PSB approved variant but I believe you must fork more for it.

PSB approval aside, the above mentioned helmets are pretty alright helmets.

Having owned the Zeus ZS 3000-A and the IS-MAX, here's my input on these 2.

The Zeus is pretty sturdy and the mechanism seems solid enough. Everything works as it suppose to be but not exceptional due to lacking in ventilation and being pretty noisy. A good enough helmet for daily use.

Also this helmet is homologated to be used as flip up or as open face. You'll need to ask for the conversion kit though. Lastly, one of its sister variant, the Zeus ZS 3000 is the 1st ever flip up helmet to be approved by SNELL due to its dual locking mechanism and rigid construction but it does not have the sun visor.

The above applies to the IS-MAX too but this helmet is slightly heavier.

The Konda isn't to my liking as the chin bar is pretty close to my chin when I closed the rotating mechanism fully. Kinda unsafe and defeats the purpose of having a chin bar in the 1st place.

The Longway II puts me off as the sun visor is on the outside, rather than being behind the visor.

The above mentioned helmets all comes with a internally rotating sun visor, with the exception of AGV Longway II

Get the HJC RPHA-MAX. It's the lightest flip up IMO.

It's the same design as the Ben Spies helmet.

U can try going for nolan N91 or caberg duke which is quite value for ur money @ below $300. However i prefer the carberg than the nolan in terms of weight and styling.
