help!i appealed liao but reduced fine only!

can any1 tell me roughly how to appeal?$100 leh i poor.i that time remember e summon issue at 3.50 and i around 4 reach my bike saw it.den i go out see 3 ppl wearin white uniform there.i so sway sia.can appeal?write to what address?is pasir ris punggol town council.

go appeal to MP.. say u were washing d bike and u forgot the wax or sumting..

Well, if you read the season parking ticket, you not supposed to wash bike, repair etc etc at the bike lot or void deck or beside the block...

 

Also, you parked there intentionaly? If you know you no money to pay the fine then why risk it? Bike lot 65c per half a day leh...

 

Do wrong just admit and accept the consequences.

Go to the car washing bay.. or if urs is an open air carpark, wash it at the carpark just like what car owners does. Wash under viod deck, even the police will give you a warning.

for me i when to east coast town council , and appeal & they brought it down from $100 to $70

i seriously dun think you have an appeal case here...

 

they could have been waiting since 3.30pm... who knows?

your 1st offence? if so, high chances ur appeal will be sucess. dun think those wearing uniforms are the one ones who summon u, coz those property officers from town council dun wear uniforms.

 

just head down personally to your Town council office.. they will ask you to write the appeal letter on the spot. just state you are jobless/schooling/NS.. no $$. will not repeat this again.. high chance they will wavie the reduce the summon, if not wavie it.

 

if appeal not sucess, go to your MP, tell him/she the same thing.. schooling/ns/jobless, no $$ to pay summon, they will help u write letter to town council, that letter sure will have some effects one.. good luck..

if i'm not wrong, it's also an offence to wash ur vehicle in a parking lot

In general, I think we should have "soft" fines.

 

The first fine should be optional, like a warning. You may still choose to settle it if you want. If you don't and you get the same fine within one year, it's double the original fine.

yes.. they will put a notice.. then they will send you the offical letter

Reduce price is better than nothin IMO..Just tell them you need a certain time before you can come up with the amount..Its not like you're not payin it..Just that it will take you a longer time to pay..
