i wunder how many ppl actually wear dedicated riding jackets for everyday commute...it seems very scarce..

I weared my CE approved armoured jacket when i travel to/from work during peak hours amidst heavy traffic everyday without fail. I even wear knee/shin armour protectors & touring boots.

I'm currently wearing a Rev'It "Air" Mesh Jacket fitted with CE protected shoulder, back and elbow protectors. It's very comfortable! :thumb:

Oooh. Nice!

Too bad I own a Clover jacket already. :sian:

It depends on which racetrack you're going to.

Bottom line: There isn't any motorcycle jacket that's "approved" for track use -- be it sticker-approval, documented approval, or verbal -- at least that's what I know of.

Full leathers are recommended.

I won't explain too much of that since this topic goes beyond the scope of this thread.

I daily ride with my Spidi perforated leather jacket. If it rains i just wear my raincoat over it. Light rain i just let it get wet, haven't even cleaned or conditioned it for a long time. I like the rugged worn look it has. Even gone down with it once, but didn't leave a mark.

Leather jackets can find, but for our weather it's gotta be perfed if you wanna daily ride. I finally saw a sweet Dainese one the other day at JR, part of their '07 range, but at 1k i gotta think about it somemore, even more than i spent on my Spidi one. I'm also thinking of ordering an AGVSport perfed jacket and perfed leather pants from the states.

Mostly seen wind breaker on the road, maybe is our local weather too hot.

Only during touring season like 3NCR, Songkran, we see our bro put on riding jacket for touring.

Maybe Singapore weather too hot for a proper riding jacket, even mesh material also seem thick to me.:p

With every good wishes
