Hi guys,

 

anyone of you face a problem with windblast?

Seems that the MRA windshield on my FZS1 is directly wind into my face instead of over it.

The sound of the wind rushing by is rather loud.

 

 

I juz got an aftermarket Givi touring shield , maybe i m short , at 1st not used to the wind blowing over the top of my head , now used to it liao . At least btr than the original whereby the wind blast is on direct to my head area .

looking through old pictures, i think this trip to desaru is the biggest gathering of fazer bikes up north...

Check ur tire pressure, tire wear and alignment. Also check ur steering but most probably its ur tires..

i didnt pump my pressure till lastt sat which when i pump,it seems to not match the pressure require .but after pump still same... is it might b tyre damage le?

erm.. wat u mean "it seems to not match the pressure require"??? Is it over or under pressured? Dun quite understand..

 

If ur pressure is OK den check ur alignment n tire wear.. is the alignment straight? Is the wear even?

I am sitting upright. When I crouch down like a mad man/Rossi wannabe, the windblast and noise is terrible.

I guess L-L, just strange cos my old naked S4 dun have this 'problem'.

For the noise, maybe you may want to change your helmet..

For the windblast you may want to change to a +30cm screen..

the milage would be poorer when running in. once you had finished running in, your fuel milage would be better.

 

most importantly, your right wrist would determine your fuel milage.

maybe its because of the aerodynamics of the bike...sharp front and wind screenmost wind and pressure is pushed to above the wind screen area?

ride more , do more touring and u will get use to it

thats what i did, so even at 180km , is ok to me now

try siiting on right butt cheeck on left part of seat. . .

around 18-19+ km per litre.

 

once, my right wrist gets naughty and the bike gets 17+km per litre only

for me yes. the red cover is slightly loose.

from my understanding, not to b a sure thing, 600 08model the rear suspension is mount on the left side. mech say is like tat, therefore like honda ST 13, it is mounted on the right thus it also have the problem falling on the right.
