Finally got my battery replace.

Btw, previously when my bike is running, my Volt Meter will display 13.6/7v,

but now, the Volt Meter only display 13.4v, will not go higher.

Is it normal or something is wrong somewhere?

U change battery @ shop? I think beter to go back to the shop and request to check the battery voltage using multimeter. Does it go over 14v when rpm increase, while riding?

based on wat i had asked a few days back, battery have different make, different 'performance', etc. bike itself, different batch, the magneto coil, charging etc, all is different.

example, ur previous batt can charge up to 13.6/7v but cannot hold charge for long. new batt max 13.4v but can hold charge for a few days. so i believe this is very subjective. as long as the voltage is within the charging range, voltage holding range, shd b fine.

Hi

Does anyone here send their Fazer to Hong Leong for the 5,000km servicing? Already done the 1,000km and 3,000km at Hong Leong and it's time now to switch to full synthetic oil(strong preference for Motul 300V). Is it necessary to go back to Hong Leong or any reputable bike shops will do? Thanks.:)

hi bro, i will very much suggest you bring it back to hongleong :)

since you've serviced there for the first 2 servicing, why not finish the "course" after which you should go back there every alternate servicing..

I went there only recently after i've gotten my bike... and i really like their service very much that i will go back to there again!

Selling Fanciful and Vintage Helmets. Interested pls Pm me!

..............................bros, nvr use autosol la~ if u started using, u had to start to use it frequently... :slapforehead:

oh that is a oil cooler? wa liew i think sooner or later, it going to rust soon... o_O

That's why i use wax to maintain. When i bought the bike, the header already very dirty/rusty, so i use fine sand paper to slightly sand it until i can feel 'smooth', use toilet cleaner (contain hydrochloric acid one) to wash the brown color layer, and waxed after clean thoroughly. I believe waxing can keep it shinny for longer time, how long i can keep it shinny have to wait and see.

The oil cooler made by aluminum alloy, can not rust one lah.

Eh mind ask what's the consequences for using autosol? Too "addictive"? Quite satisfying leh... seeing it shiny...

By the way does anyone know if there's light protector for FZ6?

Lastly, guys u all have any comments if using regular spray paint on the bike? I wonder does it withstand the weather long enough without peeling.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

consequences for using autosol is, from my phantom experience, i used it on my head light and my pipe. once in contact wit water, u don dry it, it will start to rust even more den wat u originally have. ^_^ i know the aftereffect is shiok ah! but... aft a while u will see rust and u need to do immediate actions again... :p

using autosol is like removing the anti-rust coated material on the metal..basically weakening it anti-rust abilities..its like drugs, once you start using it, you cant stop using or you will see your pipe state becoming from bad, badder, baddest..i mean worse to worst..:D

on the topic of rusts, anyone experienced rusting on the fuel cap? the inside dat is, mine rusted jialat2 one.. even my gf's ride which is merely 3 mths starting to rust... think its due ti rain water seeping in or during bike wash.. any way to prevent and remove the rust?

You should enjoy the ride there and the experience of getting your bike onto the ferry! When you get on the island, i suggest you leave your bike at the hotel and rent a kup for your round the island tours.

I had the same problem, so what I applied light amount of wd-40 on the rusty areas using the tip of my finger. So far for the past 6 months, it's still good, no rust. :thumb:

Hi! Can you please tell me if I its possible to convert my 2005 Fazer (w/ front cowl model) into a naked? Is it a direct bolt-on procedure? I am planning to buy a headlight similar to a nFZ1 naked model.

TIA!

Dear bros,

Need to check if anyone have encounter this syndrome before.

When turn on the ignition key the digital meter shows LO at coolant temp column. But when start to crank the engine (depress start button) the LO flashed (blink) with very short moment of flashing HI shown. I mean really very short flash on the HI wordings.... Then it back to LO again during the crank process and after the engine started. And of course the engine temp resume it's normal climb to the ops temperature.

Need your input. Thank you.
