Hey Fazerians,

- when shd e coolant b flushed & replaced?

- when shd e spark plugs b replaced?

 

- any1 using OWS EO? Reviews?

- any1 using OWS iridium plugs? Reviews?

- any1 tried e OWS Performance 3-in-1 package frm Unique? Reviews?

 

- my 08 FZ6s cuming 2 yrs old liao, m thinking of taking up a full servicing package frm them.

Coolant: Flush every 20,000km. But since it's DIYable, I do that every 10,000km

Spark Plug: 40k~50k km

 

OWS: No comments. I only use Maxima oil.

i think the damper is universal.. the problem is the mounting kit aka the brackets.

 

nope.. not universal.. some damper's stroke are longer, some are shorter. it also depends on the type of mounts, tank-top mount, frame mounted, or side mounted..

thanks for the clarification, apologises. i assumed that his suzuki damper is top mount and he wants to top mount on on his fz1 as well.. then i thought that the stroke is crucial.. later his suzuki stroke too short then on yamaha cannot full lock left and right. heh.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

bro , my damper is mounted to the inside front of my handle steering , which side does the fz1 damper belongs to ?

Top mount.. in between the tank and triple clamp.
