yes, my sentiments as well. with that price, how many things i can do on top of an LED signal lights........

yes true but then again, not worth it la......the assurance of the product itself alrdy is very low. unless a guarantee by a shop here not so bad. paid so much money then if got problem really headache....so hv to stay away from this kind of things......

i have yoshi slip-on on my fazer..funni i spend money to get it working again and there are some who spend money to get it removed...:confused:

yammies spend lotsa R & D and time to develop exup...exup make the bike so much smoother to ride in sg...why remove it and make your bike so hard to ride at low speed?

 

Exactly, which is why I asked about riding experience on the low end.

 

Search in this thread, there were mentions on the cat. In essence, there are 2 cats, 1 in the muffler, 1 in the collector (4-1 joint before or at the link pipe, dont' remember). When you change to an aftermarket slip on, the cat (in the muffler) as well as the exup valve is removed.

 

I've my muffler cat removed and bored, bike sounds better (slightly louder) and throttle is lighter. Should be similar to removing link pipe cat. Not straight-through so back pressure not exactly lost. Thinking if I remove the front cat and bore the muffler more, then the exup will be even more useful. When all is done, this experiment may be more expensive than just buying a slip on :)

 

I believe this can be louder than a street-legal slipon (which usually employs a smaller baffle to quiet the bike down).

it seems the fuel gauge drops pretty fast from 3 bars onwards...215km and already left 1 bar...hope the fc is not as bad as the run in tank...

i intend to de-cat the collecter when my akra slip-on arrive...heard it should run cooler due to less back-pressure...

Can pass inspection or not ah?

By right, no. i went with white podlights, but a mechanic from another bikeshop help me push my bike for the inspector to inspect. after finish already he came and tell me actually its not allowed.

led signals not allowed. my friend got caught for it before.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

not so bad liao lah.... 1st few tanks of fc is confirm no good one.. after that, shd b better. u might wanna try just add in the slip on b4 de-cat. theoritically speaking, less back pressure means cooler but then had read somewhere that it will run slightly hotter. dunno how true though. de-cat is non-reversible. might as well try reversible mods then non-reversible mods? just my thoughts..
