perhaps.. i've no idea what you talking about, cus i dun ride a S4 before..

It is like when u throttle up to rpm 5, the sound of the exhaust will change. Is it a norm for FZ1?

yes.. u can get a lowering link or get a aftermarket suspension with adjustable height..

Any idea how much is the aftermarket suspension?

brand new bike? if yes, it's normal.. cus u r still doing running in..

2) Even 173cm like me alos find FZ1 abit tall for me...

 

3) check your coolant,hopefully coolant flush will solve this problem.

same lor...my front tire right side also uneven wear...from last time cbr1000 already like tat liao..

the answer given was sg roads uneven n banked to the right..

3) check your coolant,hopefully coolant flush will solve this problem.

my usual cruising during day/night time is between 75°C to 95°C.. conditions depends on traffic, speed, weather..

my temperature never hit above 103°C be it in all kind of conditions.. once on the move again, it will straight away goes down to 90+°C..

but one thing i can say for my bike, my super rich powerband comes exceptionally powerful after 8k rpm.. if no grab on to the handlebar properly, rider can fly off my bike any time..

Is there any rough guideline about when to change the tyre in terms of mileage or time of usage.

 

Honestly, I don't know how to inspect tyre / thread properly. Currently I am using Pilot Road 2 2CT; it is about 1yr and mileage about 10K plus and I have started to feel lost of grip especially in wet road.

 

Is it about the time to change it or usually tyre life is much longer than this (about 2yrs or 15K/20K km whichever comes first).

My previous PR2 lasted for around 50,000km mileage and it still got some thread (changed cause of tio nail:(). U can see the expiry date on the sidewall of ure tyre.

could be either your chain is too loose, or the mainstand is installed wrongly. better go check it out bro, not funny to have your chain jam halfway while riding!

chain ok leh. chain n sprocket changed not long n this happened. mainstand nvr removed.

 

i had the same issue as you previously.

did you remove ur main stand and install it again previously due to some add-ons ?

if have, most likely i know the cause of it.

whatsapp me your pic of chain and main stand rubbing against each other.

so i just use rubber sheet n wrap round the main stand which looks like this.

i knew of akrapovic endcan got come with a bracket so that it prevents this prob.

 

went seng kwang, quote $40 to extend a bracket frm the arrow mid pipe to bring the main stand lower.

 

any better solutions?

with regards to tire... only can c manufacturing date. shelf life 5 years. tire usage, personal recommendation, 1 years plus have to change despite tire thread looks new. reason being, the rubber compound will harden over time. all the expansion n contraction. so its not about the thread, its the rubber compound. the longer the tire used, the harder it will become. hence less grip.

actually, ur rubber sheets already solved the problems + the knocking of sound when ever u bring ur bike down from main stand.. no need to spend extra monie to get a bracket done like that la.. the rubber stuffs should be able to last u for long..

 

btw, where u get the rubber sheets? i also wan to do lei.. my akra backet is there & good but i always had that knocking of sound of my main stand & the bracket when ever i bring my bike down from main stand..
