I bought a revtec volt stabilizer and it removed the flat spot immediately! Hehehe PC 5 will have to wait

weird.. technically a voltage stabilizer does not remove flat spot.. hmmm..

 

btw, technically again, a voltage stabilizer is not necessary unless ur bike is of a certain age or has grounding issues or has several electronic devices..

 

voltage stabilizer has different objective compared to power commander..

hi guys.. will be a new owner of an FZ1N nxt mth.. why nxt mth..? cos its my b`day den.. so hopefully insurance premium will be cheaper fer a 26 yr-old.. hehs.. =)

 

btw.. sum qns to ask.. is it ok to get a 5yr old bike with 76k on the ODO..? i know jap bikes are pretty reliable.. but this will be my first inline-4 street bike.. anytin in particular to look out for..?

 

also.. got sum stuffs on my bike that i may wana sell.. so just checkin out for interest here b4 i post them on the garage sales section nxt mth..

IMO, if you are going for fc and maintenance and handling, S4 will be better.. Likewise, if you get FZ6, might as well get S4 spec 3.. cause although the diff is there but it isn't a lot.. plus... second hand fz6 and fz1 the price is not very big..

Handling: Fz6s2 more upright and taller position which i like better. Got tall windscreen, much more comfortable and suitable for touring. Top speed about 220km/hr Spec III 190km/hr.

 

Fuel Consumption: Superfour slightly better but can be compensated by fz6's power! (F/C: My Spec III: 20-21km/L, FZ6S2: 18-19km/L) Fz6 tank also bigger...

 

Maintenance: Both about the same

 

Looks: Fz6 looks nicer with the headlights and the twin exhaust on the backside.

 

My votes goes to Fz6

Usually when I go riding in NSH Malaysia, from GP RnR I would normally stop at Pagoh RnR for resting and refuelling. However, I would like to try to reach Ayer Keroh RnR which is about 210++km instead. Do you think it's possible at 150-160km/hr? Thank you very much have a greaf TGIF!

which bike? fz1? fz6? fz8? fz15? fz16? lol..

anyway tried fz1 & fz6 GP esso to ayer keroh caltex in a single tank before at average of 150km/hr.. except tat if it's a fz1, ur balls will shrink cus by the time i reach ayer keroh caltex, it was in reserve tank -40+km alr.. hahaha..
