Hope someone can enlighten me here,

Bought tankbra, it says for year 2005-2008. Mine is Fz6 S1 which is yr 2004. Sales man say can use all same. I fox, realize abit not sui, got gap between tank and bra. Go bagster website and recommemded model is different frm which i have. Emailed them (motoword) asking for exact model num. anyone jave a tankbra with 1570U as model number?

checked. shd be 8cellevo2. but dun wanna get the wrong battery. i check with unique of the nitro. yuasa n nitro 220, shido lithium 320. c wat they reply.

 

side note, i guess alot, or rather, all shops do not charge the battery b4 installation. that which cause the battery performance to drop v.fast. unless we buy, charge n install ourselves.

but if u have a lot of electronics, u could also get 12 cell..

but if i'm not wrong, now ballistic no one bring in.. so if u get it via online & should there be issues, it will be tough to rectified..

else, u could get what is available locally.. any issue it's still easier..

 

agree what u had said too.. it's always recommended to get it ourselves & charge it before usage..

even a bike shop do have the charging facility, do u ever trust it to be complete? i'm skeptical about this.. best is trust yourself..

If I didn't recall wrongly my tankbra was a little loose also.. different model number might be for different colour and design..

I prefer to get it locally. Dun really like to ship items in unless i m sure of that item is wat i wan. Plus anything can go back to the shop.

 

How many of us really will invest in a battery charger when we dun use it regularly? Its hard to get the shop to do it for us as its a hassle. They would rather install n we ride off n case close.

agree too.. unless u r those kind of folks who does battery maintenance regularly & has a power point access near your bike..

 

or, what you can do is, go buy a normal battery, get in touch with @limbat (http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/107981-lt-CMO-gt-Trail-Offroad-Headlights-HIDs-LEDs-Battery-Chargers-on-Promotion!), ask for his convenience to charge your battery, before you start using.. note, he may not always be available..

all these lightings, confirm cannot approve. my normal white light ganna warning during inspection. any lightings other than oem, better hide the switches. can hide better hide. got fuse remember to remove. btw, wavy rotors oso buay pass. now i'm wondering, original kawasaki wavy disc, aftermarket wavy disc can pass anot. nowadays v.strict. wanna install, install smart.
