If everything goes as plan, I will get my fz8n by early next week...then im off looking for sliders, main stand and top-box..

Info I gathered frm few pages back that sliders are recommended to get at Motovation at ubi, givi boxes best to buy frm mah motor but for main stand any advice? any mention of place and price would be helpful..

Your input is greatly appreciated

Hi All

I intend to sell my FZ1S Lava Red, Nov 2009, at $12.3k. At the meantime I am not sure whether I can sell it at a higher price or lower.

I will need to let go by the first or second week of April as I will be stationed overseas for quite sometime.

I am the first and only rider since day one. My bike has been set up for touring, due to my age and very tight work schedule, i have yet to get the opportunity to ride up North. With this bike I rode to Malaysia Johor Bahru only one time 4 years ago.

The set up of on my bike for that extra horsepower and accessories amounted more then $5k. I am quite regretful for spending a bit too much, but then achieved a lot of self satisfaction.

I am keeping the side panniers and top box for my brother, but the mounting racks will remain on the bike.

Though there are a couple of minor scratches, there are definitely no rust or oil leak, my front exhaust is still bright and shiny, zero scratch on the petrol tank.

Anybody or friends who are interested, please call or sms me at 9171 3571

I stay at Punggol

Just married her today. She is 5 yrs old...bought From Bike Production.ignored their customer service and focus on the price lol

anyway, can anyone share when I stop and park my bike after a ride, with the fans running to cool her.what shall be the recommended option

A) leave engine on and fans on to cool her down

B) leave engine off(ignition on) and fans running to cool her down

C) just park, off and remove the key.leave and let natural air to cool her down

If B is recommended, will the battery drained as my headlights can't off.

Thanks bro

C, leaving the fan on wo engine running will definitely drain the batt. And do consider installing a voltmeter in order to monitor your batt voltage.

Hi, am riding a FZ600(S1). Coe ending this yr. Mileage is 57000. Condition still gd. Shld i sell/scrap and get a new bike since coe high ?

If i keep, plan to get 2nd street legal exhaust. Do pm me if anyone selling.

Welcome suggestions.

Tia.

Holy, that is a steal for a near 10yrs old ride with this mileage..My assumption that is your hobby ride,(like me haha)...in your position I will keep and give her another 10 yrs stay in Singapore. Considering she is healthy and good to go for the next few years. Just my thought.

I agree with N_RIDER too.

I am riding something like your ride too. Mine is a FZ600N(S1), year 2006, coe ending May or June next year. Mileage is slightly higher than yours at 62,000+ or 63,000+.

No problem at all, except the usual change of EO and oil filter.

I also intend to re-new COE next year, unless I strike ToTo and can afford a brand new ride. hahahaha...

If you have a decent multimeter with u u can do some basic checks to find what is draining your battery so quickly.. First confirm your charging is ok by holding the rpm around 2000 and see if your voltage is around 14V.. If it's not then it's possibly your charging problem. But if it is.. Then u need to check the current drain by checking the amperage drain when ignition off.. Not sure what is the reading for bikes but cars are around 30 sth mA depending on models.. I guess bikes should have lesser than that at the same condition. If u test this and find its more than the above, then sth is definitely sucking your battery dry..

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...

Hi guys, my fz6n nowadays is getting jerky at lower gear/rpm when engine is cold, need to rev higher to avoid the jerkiness during the morning. Only when the engine heats up den the jerkiness disappear/become better, what can be the possible issues?

might just be low idling. adjust the idling higher should solve the prob. and adjust when the engine is hot. adjust on cold engine will be inaccurate.
