Which 2A bike is the FASTEST?

Do u think that a 350 riding condition one can beat any four stroke.hhahahahahh.I thought too but then i was wrong.I front of my eye i saw a tong lost to a super4 vtec.If we play a standard jackpot of 2km i bet the 4 stroke sure give.I only hear and hear of 350 being gd,but the time is over.Modern bikes come in with better technology.Just ask a standard tong to run with a spec3 or standard rvf or better still a RS250.Want to you mean i talk kok??seems u and apache have something but nvm,i have rode this bike for some yrs...wat have u rode??sp150?

i suppose most of us already know a 2stroke 350cc bike (no matter how old, just need to be in riding condition) can easily win a 4stroke 400cc bike on acceleration (and if the cc difference is big enough, top speed).

yes i've owned 2 nsr150sps and a rvf before. currently i have a nsr250sp and a r6. sadly i've never got the chance to ride a rd350lc or a 750 before thou.

 

and im thinking we're going a lil here yes?

RD 350 is the fastest class 2A bikes la...RVF is nothing...its just a stupid 4 stroke engine...RD 350 is just 50 c.c smaller BUT a 2 stroke monster which can let RVF smell smoke anytime..u wan pick up? u wan top end? RD is always road ready...and power ready...with Yamaha Power Valve system...all the rest are just clowns...

Correction, the article says best 2 STROKE, not 2A.

correction- the last line was my personal view, thats why i had left a big space between them! my fault too, from how i see it now!

but i din mention aprilia the best 2a bike ma, juz the oni 2a bike wit the most expensive and best hardware!

 

but one muz admit of all 2a bikes, oni aprilia replica series rs250 offered inverted marzzochi forks, full brembo braking system(which all the older ducati superbikes like the 916 are using the same brake calipers, including the mitos and older rs125s), and some other branded stuff which i cannot confirm.

most expensive hardware, yes I agree. lots of goodies, typical of a continental bike...but engine is based on Suzuki RGV 250 concept

yup... actually i was disappointed dat the rs250 wasn't a 100% pure bred italian machine.

but looking at the brighter side, the parts should be (i suspected) cheaper than rs125, like the engine block/pistons.

since the engine is based on the rgv250, the aprilia engineers would have spent more time and effort in improving other aspects of it, instead of getting it to run perfect.

i would still place older rs250 replica series as the best looking 2a sports bike! from the oversized fairings, the inverted fork, full brembo system, the really chio shotgun styled twin exhaust to the cute rocket butt, waa... drooling liao!

It is the finest example of a breed of motorcycle which is about to become extinct. It is also the final example - the point at which evolution stopped after 50 years of refinement and development of the roadgoing two-stroke.

 

The quote from the website, also heralding the RS250 as one of the best 2-stroke bikes, made me sorely disappointed -- especially when they use the word "extinct".

The thing about 2A bikes is that unless people keep those 2A sportbikes on the road (by means of COE renewal), metaphorically-speaking, they're like dinosaurs...don't know when they're gonna go.

 

I wonder when that happens, TP might change our multi-tiered licensing structure to fit with this kind of market. Perhaps a way for 2B riders to advance to Class 2?

pls save the 2As! in sg a class 2 is not really a worth to buy. road tax/insurance are so $$$! and u cant even taste ur 6th gear slowly.. even if u do get to 6th gear, in a matter of mins u will be down to lower gears..
