Hi bro... It's currently on Arrow headers and Leo Vince SBK carbon fibre street legal endcan. Weight is definitely lighter and once u seen and hear this vs the stock u'll never wana put the stock back. Hahaha... Very nice thump thump signature paralleltwin sound.

 

I don't do any other performance mod other than a drop in K&N air filter. Used to have PC5 but was removed.

 

Honestly this bike doesn't need power enhancements. It's torquey and takes off easily. That's how adventure tourers are meant to behave, like a scrambler with more than sufficient low end power. Top end wise it's decent but nowhere near sport tourers. Top speed I reached was 210kph and my balls choked so I didn't dare to go any faster. The aerodynamics of the S10 simply ain't design for speed above 190kph.

 

Emphasis of this bike is for offroad/touring setup with all the necessary protective guards even for the smallest items, plenty of ram mounts for camera, phone, additional gadgets, lights that can brighten up the darkest roads and of course racks & luggages.

Just collected the bike from BHH after a week cos I was travelling. Rode it to office and gosh I miss this feeling. Thumping around in CBD zipping in & out. Woohoo~!!! Shiok!!

Current setup - ARROW exhaust manifold headers coupled with Leo Vince SBK Carbon Fibre (Legal).

 

Weight is definitely much much lighter. But the main difference is the smoothness in between gears and power delivery. And the sound... OMG the sound... it is absolutely lovey with lots of braap braaps and broop broops....

 

No other performance mods unless you consider K&N drop-in air filter, Broquet BT-04 pellets and iridium plugs. This is afterall an Adv Tourer and I don't see the need to do much on performance enhancements at the SPEED department.

Baby no2 otw so no point keeping this monster for daily transport only.

thanks dude Paikia44 for your nice info sharing... once rode this bike before and felt that its totally a diff breed for types of terrain. it kind a making sure for me to buy it, i do have the relative spare parts which i ordered before the first bike arrives in Singapore. and due to my last accident which puts me off for awhile.

 

its kinda a waste for you to let go after so much of efforts and work pimping it up overall.

Couple of reasons why I am letting it go. But mainly is becos there will be a new addition to my family in Oct and hence I won't have time to go out la-kopi let along go touring. And I see no point keeping this as a daily transport and hoping to switch to a more road oriented bike instead.

 

Blinging up the bike is also a 'hobby'... feels great to see my bike standing out from the crowd. I am vain... Hehehehe

 

By year end if no sale/trade I will most likely dekit (which I think many of my S10 pals will be very happy to know) and trade in to shop.

Pelican panniers can order via eBay. Including shipping only less than $500 for a pair. Rack is Hepco & Becker from MTechnik. Mounting brackets imported from Germany and further mod by Ah An.

Ok... Although the title is MWTS/WTT, it's more or less decided that I'll be letting the bike go. I am setting the timeline for this sale/trade to be preferably Oct cos that's when my baby is due. :)

 

Price negotiable for sincere buyers cos if no sale by then I'm dekitting & trading in for a smaller street bike.

With or without my plate. Everything goes with the bike including all original parts, XXXXL canvas, tankbag etc. Wana restart all my accessories for next bike. :)

 

Still looking at possibilities of trading... Class 2 street oriented bikes. Still hoping for a Vmax1800, MT-01, BK1300, Z1000, GSR750 etc. And sorry not looking at Fazers.

 

Not looking at Sportsbikes as my old bones couldn't handle the posture and the head wouldn't be able to resist the temptation of breaking the legal speed limit.
