i am encountering some kind of clink clink sound from my engine. its very loud when in high revs..

any advise on where to send my bike for a check??

 

other than the HD singapore? heard that they r vampire in disguise...

Hi guys..juz come back from malacca...wah piangz...its really diff btw a touring bike n my current one...last time it took me 1hr 30min to reach...but this time i took almost 3hr to reach. mayb due to 2stop pt. machap n pagoh.the funny part is...when i check in n prepare to sign in the hotel wif my credit card...my hand keep shaking..haha.saw 2 angmo on the way...we saluted to each other..culture...lolx.n saw some KL HD n other crusier at malacca too.

Hmm 3 hours to reach Malacca.....you got to twist the throttle a little bit more so it won't shake when you reach your destination...

My average speed is 120-130km/h compare to last time at 160-170km average...haha...

but ok la...im happy with it..gt time to see mountain n forest. But my EO cannot tahan the heat leh( at 280-300 F) Lookin forw for further trips.

1) In terms of size / dimensions is it similar to a Steed VLX 400 ?

 

2) How much will it cost brandnew OTR? I am 33 yrs old.

 

3) Whats the max number of years available for loan & interest rate / annum?

 

4) Whats the insurance cost for 1st party annually? I am 33 years old.

 

5) With the stock rear rim, whats the max tyre size? Say 170 ?

 

6) Is there a warranty period?

 

7) whats the run in procedure like for Harleys? Is it the usual not more than 50% throttle opening for the first 800km & then not more than 75% for another 800km?

It's quite a ait shorter,riding position also very diff. It's definatly more agile den Steed with the shorter wheelbase and steeper head tube angle.

im not sure abt harley without rpm meter, cause for me is 800 rpm 3k, another 800 km 3.5k rpm..

 

works out abt

3k = 86km/h

3.5k = 110 +/-

That could be a prob since I look just about "ok" on a Steed. I'm 1.8m & 98kg.

i had a noisy termi pipe, removed silencer, sounds like some action movie fight scene when bombs exploding with speakers on full bass... open air carpark.. nope no problemo so far

My neighbours / strangers only come to say 'Hi' and have a better look at my Harley when am washing it.

No 'dirty look' for sure but be considerate when moving off in the CP or coming back late as the after market pipies sound can be a nusiance to some.

Anyone tried HID on ur HD before? Thinking of fixing HID... if not possible, then probably gonna change to some brighter light bulb... the stock one really cannot make it....
