I love the street/speed triple. Just came back from Australia and saw a lot of Triumph street/speed triples there, all nicely done up. Really tempted to go back to street fighters again... haha...

Australia also has the 1600cc Thunderbird - I would love to have a test ride of this nice clean looking cruiser. I might try and organise over Christmas if I can find a dealer that has bikes for test rides.

Australia is also getting the Wideglide back for 2010 and a blacked out Fatboy Low - I wonder if we will see these in Singapore.

Look at the HD website, get the part number, then search for them at ebay. That is the best place to buy your parts, really. Troublesome but sure to save a lot. :)

Very curious .. are the parts from eBay original HD parts? If yes, how come they can sell so cheap?

someone as in the shop? cause that day when i drop by some shop in kallang which got 1 or 2 harley outside, i had asked the shop keeper there if i get the parts cld they fix, they told me, they not sure with this model...

the harley guy whom was there advise me that send the bike to the dealership to get it fix, even if its expensive atleast its reliable..

i dont know what u think?

i dont know if there is a difference in terms of reliability or quality. they did a good job the last time i was there at a fraction of the costs. i think when it comes to aftermarket, u have to do your own research on whether parts can fit

You can use a middleman, eg Borderlinx from citibank or vPOST. The US shops will send to the middleman and then they will send it to you. The shipping will be much cheaper this way. Using this method, so far, I have yet to encounter any ebay shop that don't wanna ship to me. :)

I agree. You must do your own research and make sure you buy the correct parts that are specific to you model. Most of the items come with instructions on how to install. I think that as long as you get the correct part, most mechanics should be able to follow the instructions and fix it for you. Especially so for those who have experience with HD bikes... :)

Borderlinx is very reliable and is FOC unlike Vpost which is super expensive and theres a high chance the stuff will get lost in transit. Before Borderlinx came along, I used Vpost a couple of times and each time they said they cldnt locate my item and i had to give them the item description and cost all over again even though during order processing all the details had been given. Once, my necklace came 3 months after i ordered.Talk abt efficiency! Usually u will get ur stuff abt 2 wks MAX after ordering if u sue Borderlinx. So, the bottomline is, USE BORDERLINX

you can calculate the shipping costs before you engage their service.
