Hi guys, is the 48 states exhaust pipes legal here? Will it pass inspection?

48 states exhaust is a OEM exhaust and meant for HD 2003 and older, as long as the baffle is not removed is a legal exhaust..48 states means the OEM exhaust was approved for use in 48 states in America, the latest HD are fitted with 50 states

slash cut OEM exhaust are usually meant for USA, bikes export out of USA for use in other countries, the exhaust usually come with the OEM tapered exhaust that you commonly see

I had purchased a XL883R 2weeks back..had been raining these few days thus no time to ride.. Would hope to meet u guys out there for some "poison" lol... I hope that the Akra exhaust for sportster will be approved soon.. Was comtemplating if I should wait or jus grab the SE or vines n Hines ..

Just to share with u guys a funny encounter with a honda integra on my way home riding my scoot...

 

this integra was loud... loud pipes and doing the century sprint from traffic light to traffic light... very irritating...

but it stopped at a traffic light and i managed came next to it...

so when the lights turn green, i go a bit more on my throttle and i managed to move off faster than it but on its 3rd gear it managed to overtake me and continued to blow its pipes... nevermind, so it stopped at the next traffic light and this time round i'm not going to give face to this joker...

this time round lights turn green and i throttle more (not WOT yet)... it never managed to overtake me, 1 or 2 car lengths behind, no matter much his blow his pipes... and we both stopped at the next traffic light...

now i go WOT and i can see it in my mirrors it is trying very hard to catch up...

 

at the last junction, i was turning off and this integra quietly move off going straight, no more blowing its pipes... haha...

i guess this teaches it not to mess with bikes... or even scoot... haha... imagine if i was riding my ex sporty, think he can't even see my tail light...

yesterday when i came out from the carpark.. I thought i saw a white ghost riding a white horse and he turned his head towards my bike (I guess he also can fell the rumbling sound).. lucky he never caught me... then this morning I got a confirmation from my neighbour that the bloody ghost came to the carpark and checked his car coz someone complained that his car is too heavily modified ..

 

gosh!!!... i think got to go to Tony asap to powdercoat my original pipes and install it .. gonna miss my V & H .. sob.. sob..

 

on the side note.. tempted to change to K1200R... but no one is selling yet.. any idea for that naked german guys?
