just been down at mick's shop, saw my wheels are repaired but need a respray. but dunno whether do the same colour(white) which is dam easy to get dirty , or red or black or gold????

any suggestions?? guys??

Hi guys, I am the new owner of Hann's ex monster. Thanks for taking good care of it for the last year. For a short intro, I used to ride a yellow 97 monster with high mount carbon pipes until I had an accident. I tried for 3 years to forget the monster but could not. Finally dared to ride and own one once again. Looks like the forum has changed abit with many new guys here. Look forward to meeting up this saturday. Cheers

just spoken to mick, he said it wouldn't look good with gold paint unless is gold as in solid gold.....

so going for red!! hope it turns out.

anyway if anyone interested track day this weekend, think the ducati club is having a track day at PG on saturday, hope my bike will be ready by then.

if not, will catch up with u guys on saturday night!!

not really tht ancient la.. it was barely 3 yrs ago. tht was when i bought my first monster,the one i juz sold off =( ....

 

anyways guys i wont be heading to sunny and bike-friendly florida anymore cause i got accepted into indiana university bloomington.. tho it's my first choice sch... it's not exactly the place to own ducati.. found out the winter there lasts almost 4 mths, with heavy snow n icy roads ! plus the nearest ducati shop is abt 1-2 hrs drive/ride awy ! but fingers crossed, i'll see how it goes...

 

kinda busy with my visa and last min preparations but i'll meet u guys on the weekly gathering nxt mth before i leave to treat u guys as i promised. =)

impulsive buying again....

brought these pazzo levers from the monster website

but unfortunately it from a S2R 800 which mean it can only fit monster 400cc , 600cc and 800cc and it cannot fit my bike...

the owner claim it only done about 600km on them.

and i'm willing to let these go at a small lost.

i've got it for $220 (plus shipping cost)

you guys can take it for $180

yea ! i bought yr endcans BUT u sold yr high mounts mid-pipe to someone else.. yea supposed to leave then, but i found out i could do the 1st few yrs in sg to save cost. so time flew and i'll be leaving nxt mth to finish it up, thus i juz sold my monster again.. great to see u're back on a monster.(hann's bike is one of a kind, especially the headlights)...

Dude, seriously, GOLD rims. Dont have to do them gloss paint. Marchesini makes gold rims in MATT colour. Seriously. Red is a bit BENG. If youre going to spend money on the painting might as well get the colour to your liking. Just my 2 cents.
