Anyone experienced/caught cats sitting on your bike? They will leave hairs, pee on the seat and scratch on it. Sometimes you may not notice but when you start you bike in the morning, there is this cat paw prints and you seat smells. If you cover it, it's worse because they will stay inside the cover and treat it like their house.

Does anyone have any solution to this?

I am currently using a lemon wax spray. Cats do not like the smell of lemon.

Biting on the fray of my hair, I muse upon the way to find the oasis of evermore beyond the vertical horizon, I shall join the windupdeads in owl city, neither my safetysuit nor my red jumpsuit apparatus can save me, cuz I mistook a death cab for cutie in plain white T's...

Irritating cats... Although I'm a cat lover, I won't hesitate to give the furball a piece of mind when it pees on my bike..

For the last 2 years, I had to tahan these furballs urinating on my bike and helmet. Its stinks to the core especially when u stop at an intersection and the smell just floats into your nose....

Err...but it's what they do to (or do on) your bike that makes them a nuisance, if not "pests"

I used to like cats when I was young but just find them too irritating and getting on my nerves...

I put axe oil and obstacle on the seat hoping that cats wouldn't rest at my seat... and yet cats climbed up my rear box and scratched it!

I put bike cover cos I didn't want them to get in... but yet still managed to get in and left some unwanted stuff!

And now, I put obstacle on my seat + bike cover + installed bike alarm... they still happily rest on my bike cover...

The cats at my area here are too "POWER"! :faint:

leashed a dog to your bike, thus cfm no cats wan to attract to your bike anymore.hahaha..jokes aside.

My fren actually encountered this problems. He would actually replace his seat every 3 months. Until he find this solution..rub a LIME/LEMON on the seat and the cat would repel against it. Read it somewhere that cats hates the scent of citrus.you may wan to try it out^^

How dirty or messy is your neighbourhood? Domestic strays usually like to "hang about" in these kinds of places.

If possible, you might wanna complain to the Town Council first. Let them deal with it (perhaps call the SPCA on your behalf). And they'll probably get one of the cleaner workers down to tidy up the places around the carpark.
