yahoo[/MENTION].com;6717039]Bro,

FJR is wider than GL1800 by at least 3 inches. Unless you remove the side panniers, it is wider than GL1800. For the STX, i am not sure.

bra,

where you get this info har?

you don't know there is this thing call google search, yahoo search meh?

to you, all fjrians look stupid and can't measure from left to right. and certainly have no eyes to see if big or small.

i think you are trying to sell your gl1800 that's why come to this forum and kar jiao. and you pick the wrong thing to say some more.

of all things, you talk about the width, wah piang.

talk about the heat for 04 or 05 model may be we can take side with you.

talking about width and comparing with all touring bikes? fjr is the easiest to get thru traffic in singapore road.

pannier to pannier:

gl1800 - 945mm

stx1300 - 812mm

fjr 1300 - 750mm (850mm from mirror to mirror)

if you are fjrian yourself, probably you should check that you are not having boxes from ikea.

Oh isit! any bro here ever try entering to International Plaza with FJR? I really need feedback before deciding on what bike to get...

Thanks bro for your information..

international plaza??? never been there sorry.

but i did went through bugis junction, calton hotel with panniers.

it's a breeze.

if you are so concern about getting through traffic or barrier with pannier, you are probably not ready for such bikes.

think twice or you may pay a big price.

Ur right bro.. Good taste of explanation :thumb:

To beesee_sg:

IMHO, I believe a GL1800 has the biggest size for all classes from left-right, front-back. I have a few good frens riding this monstrous beast and its always an awe each time they rode by. So im requesting that u do some research first carefully before comparing a GL to particularly sport touring bikes. We wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong info. Thanks..

Well in the end all of us have a single passion which is TOURING.

Hi guys, Can i know the fuel consumption per litre and tank contain how many litres of petrol. Currently riding GSX-R1000 K8. To see if tourer bike have better mileage. Thanks.

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.

As per my earlier quotes...Hong Leong quoted 29K w/o insurance and COE cap at 1.2K..so end up I guess have to pay abt 30K+..actually for my personal opinion, its better to get from reliable shops with good after sales service...its ok if its abit expensive..at least you're comfortable letting pple take care of your baby ya..

Gen 1 model 25L. Your's should be the same. FC is ard 16-22km/l based on historical inputs so it gives you 350-400+ km per tank.

Locally, no significant evidence of problematic trends but you'll see alot in fjrowners.com and other overseas forum.

One major damage happened to a fellow rider caused by snapped timing chain. Thats about it.

Biting on the fray of my hair, I muse upon the way to find the oasis of evermore beyond the vertical horizon, I shall join the windupdeads in owl city, neither my safetysuit nor my red jumpsuit apparatus can save me, cuz I mistook a death cab for cutie in plain white T's...
