Any idea wat bulb is the front indicator lights using ? I think mine has blown and the indicator on the dash is flashing very fast .

 

Check your back light if it is flashing fast too.

Yes = Your front indicator connector loose.

No = Blown

ironically, my cover got stolen 2mths before. Alarm will be installed shortly..seems like no choice already.

got money ride tourer no money buy ram mount for GPS or iphone , or simply wicked cheapo heart.

Don't have alarm..planning to install one soon. Was putting it off cos I hear it drains battery but it seems like no choice already..

if u ride everyday shouldnt be a problem.if not make sure start it up n warm it.3-4days i tried w/o riding almost cant start.

Hi Guys, I just got my FJR '11 year model. Hope to catch up with you guys for some gathering to learn from the veteran.

 

I am thinking of changing the Windshield. I only heard of Givi and Ermax. Anyone has these? Are they better than the stock? Anyone can tell me more details about them and how much will they cost?

most of us r quite busy.dun need to get work up.i did my rim pressing (not the current FJR) by HKL. they send to another workshop.result was quite good but also depends on your dent condition.my old bike lend to subrider and the whole bike went into drain..

 

anyway usually FJR thread u need to hav a little patient..

they are better then stock, higher n wider but do note might not fit nicely.not sure of new ones but i seen before the gasket between the screen n the screen holder not so perfect fit.

Thanks for the precaution about aftermarket windscreen. Didn't know some might not fit... maybe they use the wrong year... I saw that majority of parts are classed under "'06 and below" and "'06 and above".

 

Will try to hunt for local dealer for wind screen, if not, I will try to get from ebay.

 

Look forward to the next FJR gathering... so I can get to know you guys better and learn from your experiences.

2nd hand rims for FJR might be a uphill task for u. either u try not to go that fast(180-220kph) or can try some scrapyard at sungei kadut side..it will take u some time to go thru google for numbers.

 

ps: i believe most of the FJR owners are married or busy working away therefore some times u get to see the thread stall at certain pages for quite a while..maybe some overlook ur post..keke..
