Hi guys, first chanced upon this helmet on sbf and fell in love with it. Subsequently, I had the chance to visit japan on business trip last week. Went to this place UENO, near Tokyo and found a row of shops selling motorbikes & accessories. And I got myself a OGK FF5 at 27,000 Jap Yen = abt. S$360. Pretty tough job lugging it back to Singapore but it was worth it I guess.

Yeah. Top-up 1 or 2 hundred maybe can get arai or shoei x-11, but still think that at the moment, a OGK would be sufficient.

 

Anyway, anybody keen to MO the FF4 so that we can push the price down, been waiting for the FF5 to release so that the FF4 price will start to drop.

I just gotten word from somebody here that he bought his FF5 scream for under $500+ today, and was told that it provided a better fit for him than Shoei

$640 can get one Arai Rx-7 RR4 and made in Japan and RR5 is coming out soon

I see that they've included some sort of transparent plastic clip...maybe to stop unwanted turbulent airflow at the rear?

 

CoolMax as well...Not bad. I've personally have benefited from this technology.

 

But what happened to the side pods? Now the pivot assembly (where the visor snaps onto the helmet) is exposed.

 

Tat is due to make it less noisy.
