Don't get scam!

Hi. I'm Ben,owner of Honda VTEC. I had a problem with my bike. There's a leakage on the cylinder head. I went to Unique to check the leakage. They told me the repair is about a few hundreds dollar. After they opened up everything,they quote me about $1000++. Later then after they repaired,they charged me $4100. They did send me the photo of the parts but it was from top view and very far. It was not clear. I could not see the damage. They didn't show me the wear and tear parts and the parts they changed. They didn't list down the parts they changed/repair on the receipt. Not even a proper official receipt was given to me.

 

I went to HKL to check on the bike. I met the boss,Benny. He told me to change the rear tyre. I told him Unique offer cheaper price for the tyre but I don't want. Eventually,we talked this matter. He said,we have to be honest in doing business. If we were to cheat someone's money,we have to think about them. They also need money for emergency usage. We can't be selfish.

 

He got the mechanic to check my bike. The mechanic told me only the top gasket looks new. The rest of the parts didn't look new.

 

Be careful all bikers,they will attract you with the cheap promotional items but they will charge you higher price for hidden items such as the engine. Be aware of this. Always ask them for the wear and tear parts they changed and list down the items they repair/changed. If possible,ask the mechanic to repair the bike in front of you or take a video of them repairing the bike.

 

Don't get cheated easily. Survey around for the prices. Don't hesitate to call me at 98687075 if you have any doubts on this matter.

Why don't you call the owner and clarify instead of assuming? Are you one of the guy from the named bikeshop? Since you're not happy or anyone else who is not happy with this thing,come down to HKL. Call the owner,witness and the reporter come down and clarify the truth with you in front of everyone.

i only have issue with these one-post members who come in register just to put these kind of posts. this forum already got major problem with spambots, as a forum user i not happy to see some more spam like this. whether all the stories are true or not is irrelevant: spam is spam.

IMHO, a fellow SBF Member simply raised his concerns about "SPAM" and received in return such an "Wonderful" response from your Good Company.

 

This is a free Motorcycle Social Forum and Platform in which I have seen many "Better" Companies responded to various "Concerns" and your reply above has really left a "Great" impression.. Indeed.

I really hope you are not the owner of this reputable company. Very childish response to a perfectly legit statement by mechwira... also, I hope that, if you are not the boss, that he or she reads your post. Challenging others to "patronise" your company is utterly naive. I hope you reflect on your actions, your company deserves a better employee...

everyone's is irritated by the 1 thread starters that only have 1 digit total posts and all type very similar via discriminating 1 random bikeshop and then glorifying HKL.

That being said, Does not mean HKL did it, could be some guy 'smart' enough to make all 3 posts sounds legit but obviously suspicious.

 

One way to find out is to ask a moderator to check the IP address of the posting to see if they are the same and the IP address of the registered account.

 

match the IP with the forum members here and you can find out the guy or you can try the cellphone number they guy put down

I think the mods clean up spambot posts pretty quickly. At most maybe I wish new account registration would have captcha or something to reduce the occurrence of spambots, but i'm not an IT expert.

 

In any case, these three aren't spambots, they're human spammers. Not like those funny korean text kind. I still say its spam but I leave it to others to decide if they're objectionable.

for all we know, a competitor might sent this to recommend HKL to provoke our reverse psycology, to dislike HKL.
