Hi ,

 

I would like to ask if anyone here knows wad time Planet opens on SAt or weekdays? I was planning to go there first thing they open!

 

9am everyday except Sundays. (not open)

 

If you are in a hurry, just tell the boss.

I find that if you hang around, you will have to wait for quite a while sometimes.

no neccessarily hor, tiko chong dun like it when u buy parts from elsewhere and ask him to install for you.

ah chong is a very thrustworthy mech... dun have any issues w leaving my bike there... anyway will be leaving my bike there for a month soon... crashed....

price wise, i will not say expensive or cheap but service wise, very2 efficient..

just came back from planet...

 

changed rear tyre as my 1 year old metzeler sportec M1 has exposed to steel strings :p

 

got michelin pilot... and ah chong checked break pads and changed new set..

mood: So tired...

 

Today was the longest I have ever had to wait for an Engine oil change & radiator coolant flush...

Was at Planet from 06:10pm until 09:20pm

 

Here's what happened.

Arrived at Planet at around 6pm, but there were already other bikes there, so have to wait lor...

 

But about an hour later, when Ah Chong started servicing my bike, he found one of the screws "Melted" ?!? :eek:

 

So he spent the better part of the next hour searching and cutting a replacement screw.

Wow! Very detailed service! Goes to show that good things are worth waiting for. :)

 

Planet is definately my 1st choice.

Other people would have just force in any other screw.

 

Tried Engine ice this time, didn't notice much difference.

Maybe I haven't rode hard yet. :cheeky:

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

den he help me test my ride... so far so good... but predicted some parts to wear off within 6 mths time...

and den i was asking for a 2nd hand rear box... den he ask, u wan rolex or timex...

stun... but i ended up getting a Givi box + rack + bracket which seems quite good :)

another happy customer~!

35th time at Planet

Didn't expect to pay Planet another visit quite so soon...

But had to because the rubber tube that connects the coolent was cracked! :eek:

And all my brand new precious new engine ice was spluttering out! :cry:

 

Left my bike there, riding from Yishun to Ubi scared will over heat.

 

Collected today on 18/03/2009

Ah Chong apologized, because made me wait.

 

Ah Chong in his usual joking manner "Sorry, Today workers alot, but KN not one of them Hew you!" :D

Quoted me $165 for the repairs.

But discount $100 because I weearing orange shirt! :lol:

Added me a "choke" free of charge as well! :D

 

Very fun boss, will go back there just for the jokes alone! Ka! Ka! Ka! :lol:

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

Today was my first visit to planet motor. Was glad to see the boss ah chong and the tall mech was pretty friendly, and willing to answer my query despite not buying anything from them. Too bad they dun have the part i wanted :(
