wahh, ah chong driver maserati seh.....can't imagine that.

 

yeah, overworked bunch. but its hard to find good mechs as well.

 

personally though, for his level of expertise, i will still got there. and i'll let him take his time to do up the bike cause i know its in good hands. rushing him might just screw things up.

Installed a pair of rear suspension shocks from Ah Chong. Feel like it is too soft and seems hitting bottom when crossing bump with pillion. Though after two weeks liao, Ah chong is still willing to replace it for me with a new better pair for FREE. Work done by him too. Steady boss!

Aprilia works like any other bike i think.. It is the parts that is a pain in the ass.. I rode one before.. Have to wait for parts to arrive to the shop(Not talking about planet though) or have to just go to Mah(now should be piaggio?) and repair.. :\

85th Time at Planet!

mood: I miss my Planet!

 

Went there to change engine oil and air filter.

 

On the way to Planet, a huge piece of flattened cardboard box went under the wheel of the taxi in front, flew up and hit my right signal light and the carboard box got stuck on my head light after that, I slowly keep left and using one hand grab the box and threw it onto the side of the road.

 

Over at Planet then realised the signal light broke from the impact.

 

The one who serviced my bike was the China uncle. He had difficulty opening the engine oil cap, then Ah Chong came and open, but said the cap almost rounded, no choice got to buy one.

 

I DIY open the air filter, WAH!!!! Got fungus on the cover! Must be gone case already! Then take out the filter see. Huh? The air filter still not too bad still can use for a while, so not a total lost.

 

After that I went over to the shelf and looked for my favorite NASA. But no more Gold colour NASA engine oil!

 

Only a Grey bottle with blue sticker! Asked Ah Chong wether same or not then use.

Turtle.... change colour for what? Make me worry only....

 

Ah Chong and the China mech got a old Phantom signal light cover for me and modified it to fit onto my signal light holder. Total charge for today NASA Engine oil + modified 2nd hand signal light $15.

 

Ah Chong also noticed my chain needs to be tighten, so did it for my free! Not bad considering 1 year never need to tighten because of regular oiling usung ezzy oiler. Might have been able to avoid tightening if I hadn't neglected to top up the lube oil for the last month.

 

When I was about to go, I bought drinks for the mech, but missed out on San Wei, because though he said no need, when he actually said anything.

 

Had a nice chat with a Suzuki Haybusa rider, may consider getting one if finances allows next year.
