first visit to planet...kinda of blur as no one attend to me.. so thanks to the forumer who post ah chong photo, i went to him and tell him my prob wif heavy FC after changing coolant hose, so he asked what did i changed recently ( wifout looking at my bike).. but he asked why didnt i go back to the shop whr i changed my coolant hose..well, shop normally will say i don know and add on saying my bike old liao, its ok for old bike to consume more fuel...

 

so ah chong told me to wait... i waited like 10mins? before he take a look at my bike... so ah chong rev my bike without reaching more than 10krpm, the bike emitting black smoke liao.. then he close throttle, the bike like vomitting black smoke.. so he say mus be carb... then he went to take his poker dot helmet and test ride... come back , he parked at the pavement other.. saying " this bike serious ah, might be carb's pin broke... and LJ, this bike whr gt smooth!? 3 krpm the bike is jerking" so he suggest me to place my bike there one day.. but i told him that tmr morning i wil bring it down...

 

just by reving the bike, he already conclude my carb gt prob... so tmr morningi wil ride down, hopefully he can do on the spot so i no need to go back in the evening to collect..

I'm riding Honda CS1, went down to Planet to get the batt changed. After changing he said that rectifier or magnetic coil faulty. He tried to source for one but unable to do so, and advise me go finds another shop. So good never charge me anything.

 

Now I'm not sure should I go universal motor or asphoon to get my bike done, cause all these yrs I trust ah chong on my previous bikes

any1 encounter ah chong commenting blue colour aftermark air filter cannot be used? im using pipercross, chong said that cannot be used and he change the air filter to stock without telling me... i jus tiam tiam... send in mine in the morning 930am.. he advise me to leave it there and come bk at 5pm.. then 430pm i reached , onli thing he comment is my air filter cannot use.. then he went for a spin before passing bk to me.. saying ok liao.. then i ask him if my chain need to tighten or nt n he help me wif it.. think he forgot to adjust my idling after carb wash.. he took out one special tool n adjust for me..

 

so he advise me to pump full n monitor my fc.. also bet wif me that if i don believe him, one mth later put back the pipercross and see.. i don really feel much diff mayb changed to paper air filer so smoothness changed...

Either it is raining and no customers or you are the first few customers. Try avoid going over on sat unless you told him you are coming or it is major issue.

 

Else be prepared to wait for hours or ask to come another day. :S

EO, sparks plug, wash air fliter, coolant, oil filter.

 

do they carry maxima EO and water wetter? =/ just curious.

Just went service ytd, honda oil filter no longer charge at $15. Is $18 now. Standard?

I also cant see how the mechanics Clean air filter, can regular advise?
